Richard should be more appreciated as a character because his moral compass is actually pretty funny. He’ll go along with Ben’s evil plans cause he has to but whenever he’s in charge he just does little puzzles. He isn’t necessarily going out of his way to be good but he truly does not care about any of the drama.

Nothing hurts worse than knowing the writers could not give less of a shit about your favourite character. Background scenes if you’re lucky, maybe a single centric episode. Like why would you make the most sick ass character just to further other character’s development.
