DIASOMNIA X GN!READER (TWST)

PLEASE NOTE [NAME] WILL BE REFERRED TO AS "YUU"

You were tired, Riddle's Overblot took a lot out of you, you were currently in the dorm mirror's, ready to head back to Ramshackle and shower.

Before you went in, you looked at Grim, he was sound asleep, how lucky.

You heard footsteps, you turned around and saw a tall boy with fair skin, light-green hair slicked back with thick eyebrows and yellow-green eyes.

You're gonna be honest, he kind of intimidated you, but you just ignored him and went your way.

"𝘐 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦 𝘔𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘓𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘢 𝘪𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘳.." I mutter to myself, I respect Master Lilia but his cooking is.. How do I say this, not edible..

I walked into the Dorm Mirror's, expecting to be the only one there, but there was a human, with something that looked like a raccoon.

They turned around and looked at me, as if they were judging me, stupid human!

But before I could say anything they turned around and left.

"𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘱𝘪𝘥 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯.. 𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨."

What a weird guy, he looked offended, my bad..

Grim still hasn't awoken and I'm not planning to wake him up, it's nice to not hear complaints.

Before going to bed I couldn't help but think of the green haired boy, he was from Diasomnia judging by his uniform.

You remembered how Lilia scared you and your friends at the cafeteria, he was also from Diasomnia.

"𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘋𝘪𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘯𝘪𝘢 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘺.."

"𝘏𝘦𝘺 𝘠𝘶𝘶!" Your friend, 𝘼𝙘𝙚 said, you turned around and saw him with 𝘿𝙚𝙪𝙘𝙚, another friend of yours.

"𝘏𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘰 𝘈𝘤𝘦, 𝘋𝘦𝘶𝘤𝘦, 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘸𝘰 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨?"

"𝘏𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘰 𝘵𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘰𝘰, 𝘠𝘶𝘶, 𝘐 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘰𝘬𝘢𝘺."

"𝘐 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵! 𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘳𝘪𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘳." Ace breathed a sigh of relief.

"𝘓𝘦𝘵'𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘸, 𝘸𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦." Just as Deuce said that, the bell rang.

You, Deuce, Ace and Grim all shared a look of panic, Ace and Deuce had a class with Professor Crewel, while you and Grim had a class with coach Vargas.

"𝘙𝘜𝘕!!!!!!!!!"

"𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦! 𝘊'𝘮𝘰𝘯 𝘯𝘰𝘸, 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘦 20 𝘭𝘢𝘱𝘴!"

... Please God why.

If it couldn't get worse you shared a class with Green-Haired guy.

You were panting heavily, your legs gave up on you and you fell, but to your horror, you fell on someone, and that someone was..

You both were taken to the Nurse's office, You because you sprained your ankle, and Sebek because he bruised his arms and legs, because he took the fall.

"𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘸.." Sebek muttered, seeming disappointed in himself.

"𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳?" You asked him, confused, Sebek looked offended.

"𝑌𝑜𝑢'𝑣𝑒 𝑛𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑑 𝑜𝑓 𝑌𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑔 𝑀𝑎𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑟?! 𝑇ℎ𝑎𝑡-!" Sebek was Interrupted by someone walking in.

"𝑆𝑒𝑏𝑒𝑘? 𝐼 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑑 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑔𝑜𝑡 ℎ𝑢𝑟𝑡." It was none other than Lilia Vanrouge.

"𝑀-𝑀𝑎𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝐿𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑎! 𝐼'𝑚 𝑜𝑘𝑎𝑦, 𝐼'𝑚 𝑛𝑜𝑡 ℎ𝑢𝑟𝑡!" Sebek said to Lilia, even though he was covered in bandages.

"*𝑠𝑖𝑔ℎ* 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑜𝑏𝑣𝑖𝑜𝑢𝑠𝑙𝑦 ℎ𝑢𝑟𝑡, 𝑆𝑒𝑏𝑒𝑘" Sebek looked.. Ashamed?

"𝐻𝑚? 𝑊ℎ𝑜'𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑡𝑙𝑒 𝑏𝑖𝑟𝑑𝑖𝑒?" It seems like Lilia has 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 noticed you.

"𝑂ℎ! 𝐼 𝑚𝑒𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑎𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑎𝑓𝑒𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑎, 𝑟𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡? 𝐹𝑢𝑓𝑢~ 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑐𝑘𝑒𝑑 𝑒𝑥𝑝𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑞𝑢𝑖𝑡𝑒 𝑐𝑢𝑡𝑒." I- Cute??

"𝑊ℎ- 𝑖- 𝑐-𝑐𝑢𝑡𝑒?.." You were blushing heavily, (for some reason.)

"𝑃𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑒 𝑑𝑜 𝑣𝑖𝑠𝑖𝑡 𝐷𝑖𝑎𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑛𝑖𝑎, 𝐼'𝑚 𝑠𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑀𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑢𝑠 𝑤𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑏𝑒 ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑦 𝑡𝑜 𝑠𝑒𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢."

"𝑌𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑔 𝑀𝑎𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑟?!" Sebek jumped out of the hospital bed. "𝐼𝑠 ℎ𝑒 𝑜𝑘𝑎𝑦?"

Lilia chuckled, "𝐻𝑒'𝑠 𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑒, 𝑐𝑎𝑙𝑚 𝑑𝑜𝑤𝑛, 𝑙𝑒𝑡'𝑠 𝑔𝑜 𝑛𝑜𝑤 𝑖𝑓 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑓𝑒𝑒𝑙 𝑏𝑒𝑡𝑡𝑒𝑟."

Lilia looked at you one last time before leaving with Sebek, you were wondering,

"𝑆ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝐼 𝑣𝑖𝑠𝑖𝑡 𝐷𝑖𝑎𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑛𝑖𝑎? "

**✿❀ ❀✿****✿❀ ❀✿****✿❀ ❀✿**

"𝐷𝐼𝐴𝑆𝑂𝑀𝑁𝐼𝐴?!" Ace looked at you like you were crazy.

"𝑌𝑒𝑠, 𝐷𝑖𝑎𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑛𝑖𝑎, 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡'𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑏𝑖𝑔 𝑑𝑒𝑎𝑙?" You asked as you looked at him, then Deuce, who looked worried, and finally Grim, who couldn't care less.

"𝐴𝑟𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑠𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑔𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒, 𝑌𝑢𝑢? 𝐼'𝑚 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑑 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑚𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑒𝑛.." Deuce looked at you, he didn't even take a bite out of his lunch.

"𝐼𝑡'𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑑 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑜𝑓𝑓𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑑, 𝑖𝑡 𝑤𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑏𝑒 𝑟𝑢𝑑𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑖𝑔𝑛𝑜𝑟𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑚." Deuce was still worried, his food was already cold.

"𝐼 𝑔𝑒𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑝𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑡 𝑌𝑢𝑢, 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑙𝑙.."

"𝑀𝑦𝑎ℎ, 𝑙𝑒𝑡 𝑌𝑢𝑢 𝑑𝑜 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡." Grim was nice enough to say that.

"𝐹𝑖𝑛𝑒.. 𝐵𝑢𝑡 𝑟𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑚𝑏𝑒𝑟, 𝑖𝑓 𝑎𝑛𝑦𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑒𝑛𝑠 𝑑𝑜𝑛'𝑡 𝑠𝑎𝑦 𝑤𝑒 𝑑𝑖𝑑𝑛'𝑡 𝑤𝑎𝑟𝑛 𝑦𝑜𝑢!" Ace crossed his arms, he was pouting .

"𝑂𝑘𝑎𝑦, 𝑖𝑡'𝑠 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝐼 𝑐𝑎𝑛 𝑜𝑟 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑜𝑙 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑦𝑤𝑎𝑦." With that, you got permission from the CE duo, and Grim too.

You took a shower and dressed nicely, now you were heading to Diasomnia.

You made a full sized cake, chocolate flavoured to be exact.

A shiver went down your spine while walking to the dorm mirror's, it was quite a cold night, but you eventually made it.

'𝘗𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘰𝘳𝘦, 𝘚𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘢.. 𝘋𝘪𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘯𝘪𝘢.' There was the mirror to Diasomnia, it looked quite plain, if you has to be honest.

You went inside and there greeted you a boy with silver hair and beautiful eyes.

"𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘠𝘶𝘶? 𝘍𝘢𝘵𝘩-.. 𝘔𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘓𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘢 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘮𝘦." The boy said.

"𝘞𝘢𝘪𝘵, 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦?"

"𝘚𝘪𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘳."

You followed him to a castle.. Diasomnia is fancy but creepy.

Silver opened the door and there greeted you Lilia, with Sebek and a Horned fae.

"𝘠𝘶𝘶! 𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴?" Lilia asked gesturing to the chocolate cake in your hands.

"𝘈𝘩, 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘰𝘰, 𝘓𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘢, 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘪𝘻𝘦𝘥 𝘤𝘢𝘬𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘧𝘭𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘥." Sebek looked at you as if you committed a crime, while the Fae looked a bit disgusted, Lilia looked at you with a weary smile and Silver just stared at you.

"𝘚𝘛𝘜𝘗𝘐𝘋 𝘏𝘜𝘔𝘈𝘕! 𝘋𝘖𝘕'𝘛 𝘠𝘖𝘜 𝘒𝘕𝘖𝘞 𝘠𝘖𝘜𝘕𝘎 𝘔𝘈𝘚𝘛𝘌𝘙 𝘋𝘐𝘚𝘓𝘐𝘒𝘌𝘚 𝘍𝘜𝘓𝘓 𝘚𝘐𝘡𝘌𝘋 𝘊𝘈𝘒𝘌𝘚?! 𝘈𝘕𝘋 𝘛𝘏𝘈𝘛 𝘏𝘌𝘚 𝘈𝘓𝘓𝘌𝘙𝘎𝘐𝘊 𝘛𝘖 𝘊𝘏𝘖𝘊𝘖𝘓𝘈𝘛𝘌?!" Sebek yelled at you, a̶s̶s̶ ̶h̶o̶l̶e̶.

"𝘚𝘩𝘶𝘵 𝘶𝘱 𝘚𝘦𝘣𝘦𝘬.. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯'𝘵 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸." Silver looked annoyed at Sebek.

"𝘠𝘶𝘶.. 𝘞𝘦 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘔𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘶𝘴 𝘪𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺.. 𝘍𝘰𝘯𝘥, 𝘰𝘧 𝘤𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴.." Lilia smiled at you apologetically.

"..." Malleus just looked at you and it was starting to creep you out.

"𝘚𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘮 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦𝘴.."

"𝘋𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘢 "𝘙𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘮 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯" 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯!" Sebek looked like he was gonna pounce at you.

"𝘚𝘦𝘣𝘦𝘬, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘴 𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩." Lilia told Sebek with a stern expression.

"𝘐.. 𝘚𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺, 𝘔𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘓𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘢." Sebek looked like a kicked puppy, how can one look so cute and menacing at the same time?

"𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘰𝘬𝘢𝘺, 𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘢 𝘤𝘢𝘬𝘦, 𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘔𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘶𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘠𝘶𝘶 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭." Lilia gestured you to Malleus, while Malleus was scary, he was extremely pretty.

"𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘸𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘧𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘵, 𝘐'𝘮 𝘔𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘶𝘴 𝘋𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘢, 𝘥𝘰𝘳𝘮 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘋𝘪𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘯𝘪𝘢." Malleus introduced himself, waiting patiently for you to do the same.

"𝘐'𝘮 𝘌𝘯𝘮𝘢 𝘠𝘶𝘶, 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘳𝘮 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘙𝘢𝘮𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘭𝘦, 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦𝘦𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘔𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘶𝘴." You introduced yourself too, with a little curtsy.

Malleus looked amused, Lilia noticed this and smiled.

"𝘕𝘰𝘸, 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳? 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘦, 𝘴𝘪𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯! 𝘐 𝘤𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘢 𝘧𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘰𝘤𝘤𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯!" Right as Lilia said that, both Sebek and Silver grimaced.

"𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘠𝘶𝘶 𝘣𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦.." Silver looked at the chocolate cake you had, not his ideal dinner, but better than Lilia's cooking.

Meanwhile Sebek looked at the soup Lilia made, it was purple with a mix of green, it looked inedible, and smelled disgusting.

"𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘔𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘓𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘢!" Silver looked annoyed, he nudged 𝘚𝘦𝘣𝘦𝘬 "𝘕𝘰𝘸'𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘢𝘯𝘣𝘰𝘺 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘔𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘓𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘢, 𝘚𝘦𝘣𝘦𝘬."

But Sebek ignored him and ate Lilia's soup, poor boy's face turned green like his hair, but he somehow finished it, Lilia looked pleased.

"𝘐𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘮𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘚𝘦𝘣𝘦𝘬 𝘦𝘯𝘫𝘰𝘺𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘵, 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘮𝘴 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘯~" Lilia said with a smug smile.

"𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵.." Malleus muttered as he was playing with the spoon in his hand, you could see the small frown on his face, but Lilia didn't.

"𝘏𝘮? 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵, 𝘔𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘶𝘴?"

"𝘕𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨.." Malleus just gave in and took a sip, and his frown deepened.

Meanwhile, Silver was enjoying your cake, happy that he didn't have to eat Lilia's cooking.

You just stared at the food, you were hungry, but boy did you loose your appetite.

"𝘠𝘶𝘶, 𝘚𝘪𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘳, 𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘸𝘰 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯'𝘵 𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘮𝘺 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘱, 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘯𝘰𝘸, 𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩~" Lilia picked up a spoon with soup inside and pointed it at Silver.

"𝘚𝘢𝘺 𝘢𝘩𝘩, 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰-𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯~"

"𝘍𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳.." Silver looked embarrassed.

Lilia just chuckled, then he looked at you.

"𝘠𝘶𝘶, 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦? 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯'𝘵 𝘵𝘰𝘶𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦." Lilia looked at you with a small smile.

"𝘏𝘶𝘩?.. 𝘈𝘩, 𝘺𝘦𝘴, 𝘐 𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦." Lilia didn't look convinced, just as he was about to say something,

"𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦, 𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘐 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘨𝘰.. 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘥, 𝘓𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘢." You stood up and prepared to leave.

"𝘚𝘰 𝘴𝘰𝘰𝘯? 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘱𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘣𝘺 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯? 𝘛𝘰𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘸, 𝘮𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦?" Lilia, Silver, Sebek and even Malleus looked at you, waiting for your answer.

"𝘐.. 𝘖𝘧 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦, 𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰." That was also a lie, you didn't want to come back again, they honestly freaked you out.

Lilia smiled, "𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘺, 𝘚𝘪𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘳, 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘴𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘠𝘶𝘶 𝘰𝘶𝘵?"

"𝘖𝘧 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦, 𝘔𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘓𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘢." Silver took your hand in his, intertwining your fingers.

You and Silver were close to the Mirror. Silver looked at you

"𝘋𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺, 𝘐𝘭𝘭 𝘤𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦."

"𝘖𝘬𝘢𝘺, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶."

"𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦'𝘴 𝘯𝘰 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘮𝘦." After he said that, Silver walked into the Mirror with you.

"𝘞𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘴𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘰 𝘙𝘢𝘮𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘭𝘦, 𝘵𝘰𝘰?"

"𝘕𝘰, 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘨𝘰 𝘣𝘺 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳, 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩." You kindly (?) declined his offer.

You gave him a big hug and before he could say anything you ran to the Mirror to Ramshackle.

**✿❀ ❀✿****✿❀ ❀✿****✿❀ ❀✿**

Silver looked shocked, but then he just chuckled.

"𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦, 𝘠𝘶𝘶."

A/N: my deepest apologies for the long wait, I spent a day brainstorming what to write and school kept me occupied, also, this is part one, part two will probably not be posted soon, but it won't take long.

Also, Malleus actually dislikes full sized cakes, his chocolate allergy was a headcanon.

Edit - I just realized there's not only Enma Yuuken, but also Enma Yuuka, so i realized it didn't really fit my Gender neutral thought, for those who were uncomfortable, it has now been fixed and proofread.

Take care, my darlings.

Results of the recent poll, After Riddle's Overblot won.

That's interesting, I thought it would be in last place

l'm writing the oneshot now, since I have no doubt Twisted Wonderland will win the poll

If you don't like it, please don't hesitate to tell me

Tags

I see that Twisted Wonderland is winning, I'm both scared and excited at the same time, because I just finished The Red rose Tyrant, but I'm confident I know most of the characters personality, and I've watched some game plays, that being said, if Twisted Wonderland wins, who would you want to be your love interest? Maybe more than one, maybe you want it to focus on a certain dorm, or you just want it to be Platonic, I'm making the oneshot gender neutral so both girls and boys can read it.

You were on your bed, thinking of how could you possibly join the Armed Detective Agency.. Hmmm... What if you pretend that you were evil, but want to be 'kind' now?.. No, too obvious.

what if you pretend to be an orphan who's an ability user?.. No, too weird, your 21 for goodness sake!

Hm... What if you just pretend to be a normal human who just wants a job?

That was kind of strange.. But for this paycheck you would do anything, literally.

And you decided to tell Chuuya your plan.

• CHUUYA'S POV •

Fuck.. Why do I feel this way.. Everytime I'm with them my stomach feels weird.. Do i- No!! I can't get distracted by them, I need to sign these documents..

*knock knock*

• 3RD PERSON POV •

As [Name] knocked on Chuuya's door, they couldn't help but think.

'Osmanthus wine tastes the same as I remember-'

(Sorry, what [Name] actually thought of ↓)

'Is there someone in the ADA that's gonna know who I am immediately when I walk in?'

"Come in" it was Chuuya's slightly muffled voice.

You opened the door and you swore you could see Chuuya's face Redden a bit.

"Oh, it's you.."

"The one and only, why is your face so red Chuuya? *gasp* don't tell me.. You have a crush on someone!"

"Wha-?! No I don't! It's just hot in here!"

"Yeah sure.. Anyways I have something to tell you...

---------------------------------------------------------------------

"Really? That's the ''Genius'' plan that you made up?"

"Hey! That's the best one that I could think of!"

"Whatever.. This may be your weirdest 'plan', but it may work, good job"

Achievement Unlocked! - Praise from the big bad executive :3

"Yay! Thanks Chuuya!"

"Your welcome..?"

---------------------------------------------------------------------

It was finally the day if the plan.

As you were walking down the street, you suddenly bumped into someone

They had messy brown hair, a long sand-colored trench coat, brown eyes and bandages literally almost every where

'Bingo'

"Oh! I'm really sorry sir, I wasn't looking at where I was going."

"It's fine..."

"Huh?"

"But Miss/Mr... Would you be willing to commit double suicide with me?"

Now that's a question our dear [Name] didn't expect

'This is the Dazai Osamu? He looks goofy..'

"THERE YOU ARE YOU TROUBLESOME BLOCKHEAD!"

Yelled out a voice that belonged to a man with dirty blonde hair tied into a low ponytail with glasses

His yell startled you, making you let out a little Yelp in Surprise.

"Oh! You found me Kunikida, Well done!"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WELL DONE?!"

"I-"

"Ugh, I'm so sorry for his behavior, Mx."

"Aha.. It's fine."

"Did he do anything to you??"

"No! He didn't, he just asked me if I wanted to commit double suicide with him.. "

"Ugh that bastar- are you okay Mx.? You look troubled"

"Ah, about that, I'm looking for a part time job"

"Oh~"

The man, Dazai moaned hummed (?), he then looked at Kunikida as if saying 'you know what I'm thinking?'

Then Dazai suddenly said..

"Then.. Do you want to join the armed detective agency, Mx.?"

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Hehe, can you tell that I forgot the entirety of episode 1? Did you also notice the genshin reference at the beginning?

Chapter 3 will be posted tomorrow, if I made any mistakes please tell me sweetie :)

A/N - Hello sweeties, I couldn't write chapter 2 yesterday because of the poll, looks like you guys picked both Chuuya and Dazai hehe, I hop

You were signing some documents as you sat in your office, it wasn't anything hard

You were just signing them, not bothering to look at it, as you wanted to finish quickly.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

"Ugh finally, the last document, I can finally rest now." You said as you put away the documents, suddenly, there was a knock on your door

"Miss/Mr, [Name] , I came here to collect the documents you signed." Your assistant, Akane said as she came to collect your documents.

"Thank you Akane, could you bring me a cup of [Hot Beverage]"

"Of course, Miss/Mr. [Name], Hehe, signing all these documents must've been tiring huh?" Akane said with a giggle.

"Yeah.." You replied with a sigh, kind of annoyed because you wanted to drink [Hot Beverage] as soon as possible.

"Oh my, I must get going know, I'll bring you your [Hot Beverage] soon."

'Finally' you thought as she left quickly, you checked your phone to see a dozen of missed calls and messages, whoops.

Nakahara Chuuya

[Name] are you there??

Yes, I am, what's the matter?

Boss requested to see you... An hour ago..

Oh shi*t..

---------------------------------------------------------------------

You were really fucked now, you mumbled curses as you dashed out of your office, bumping into Akane in the way.

You let out a quick apology and continued running.

Surprisingly you got there less than 6 minutes later, which is kinda impressive because the distance from your office and the bosses office is really far.

You cautiously knocked on the door

"Come in."

As you opened the door there was the boss, Mori Ougai in all his glory, sitting in the chair behind the desk, his 'Daughter' Elise on the floor beside him, drawing with crayons.

"You requested to see me, boss?"

"Yes, an hour ago actually." Oh shit

"I deeply apologize for my behavior, boss"

"Hm, I guess I could let it slide this time, don't make this mistake again."

"Understood, boss." You sighed in relief.

"Anyways I have a mission for you.

this mission is..."

---------------------------------------------------------------------

As you walked out of the office you thought of the mission he just gave you, you had to go undercover as a detective in the armed detective agency, gain their trust and steal the documents that are important to him.

The only reason why he chose you is because neither Dazai nor Yosano knew who you where, otherwise he would've picked someone else.

As you were walking you spotted Chuuya and walked over to him.

"The moon is beautiful, isn't it?"

"Gah! You scared me you bastard.. What do you want? Did you get a mission from boss?"

"I did actually."

~ After explaining the mission ~

"YOU HAVE TO WHAT?!"

"Tsk, could you quiet down, I don't want the whole world to hear you."

After he calmed down he asked you

"But why you? Why couldn't he pick Me or someone else?"

"It's because Dazai knows who you are Chuuya."

"I get it, but why not someone else like Tachihara?!"

"The black Lizard raided the agency, remember? He was there."

He nodded in realisation, then asked again

"Do you want to drink some wine? My treat."

And how could you say no to that?

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Chapter one of this is over, I'll post chapter two tomorrow, I know I should have picked wattpad or something else to write chapters, but I chose Tumblr. Also, who do you want your love interest to be?

[Reader] is gender neutral, Akane is my Oc btw, she's not a love interest :)

Hello!! Can I Request For A Yandere Yoosung X Reader?

"I'm home dear."

Eugene called out as he opened the door and took off his shoes and closed the door behind him, he walked through the hallway and into living room and saw his beloved sitting by the window.

Looking through the window while the TV plays in the background, Eugene smiled as he approached them and sat beside them. They flinched and looked beside them. "Oh... Eugene, welcome home." [Name] empty said as Eugene smiled and kissed their forehead.

"What did you throughout the day?" He asked as he leaned against them as they looked back at the TV, while [Name] was listing off the things they did throughout the entire day as Eugene hummed and nodded.

"And... yeah, that was it. But what do you want for dinner?" [Name] asked as they stood up to go to the kitchen to cook dinner for the both of them, Eugene stood up and followed behind. "How about some chicken stew?" Eugene offered as [Name] nodded and took out the ingredients and stuff, and while [Name] was cooking dinner for the both of them.

Eugene then saw a paper bag from Louis Vuitton, his eyes darkened since [Name] never mentioned going out of the house nor a notification that [Name] had spend his money, so now he was wondering on who got this for his beloved.

"Hey... [Name]..." They flinched when they heard their name being called out by Eugene especially when Eugene was not using their nickname, they slowly turned around. "What is it?" [Name] asked.

"Where did you get this?" He said while pointing at the paper bag, [Name] took a deep breath. "Oh... Samuel came by earlier and gave this to me...." [Name] said as they put down the knife and walked towards Eugene and held his arm. "But he said it was just a birthday gift, it doesn't mean anything." [Name] said with evident fear in their voices.

Eugene looked down/up at them and held their face. "Oh darling, I know. Don't worry dear, I'm just wondering on why you didn't mention it to me earlier." Eugene said as [Name] looked down.

"I'm sorry, it slipped my mind." The male chuckled and kissed their forehead. "That's alright, as you long you weren't hiding it from me." Eugene said as their grip tighten on his arm. "How about you continue cooking our dinner love." Eugene said as they nodded and walked off.

He took the bag and throw it on the trash can., knowing he can just buy another for his beloved.

"Useless."

-

"Love." Eugene called out to his partner who was changing their clothing. "What is it?" [Name] asked as they looked at him. "What do you want to do for your birthday? We can go wherever you like." [Name] face lightened up after hearing that, they looked at Eugene in shocked making him chuckle.

"Well?" There was already an idea in their head as they looked down, having a feeling that Eugene will reject it but it doesn't hurt to try? Right?

"I... wanna.." "Hmm?" "I wanna go and see my family." The atmosphere became tense in the room, as Eugene face darkened while still keeping his famous smile. [Name] hurried over to Eugene and kneeled down.

"Please... just this once Eugene... I want to see my family. I want to see how they're doing, please, please." [Name] pleaded as they felt tears coming out of their eyes, while Eugene just looked down on the kneeling figure.

[Name] 'please' were the only thing heard throughout the room as Eugene was not answering, making [Name] desperate, wanting to see their family once again.

"Do you mean the family that you grew up with... or the family that you founded?" Eugene coldly asked as [Name] looked up with tears in their eyes which did not faze Eugene one bit. "I know how your family was abusive, so obviously you don't want to see them again but... I guess... it's Hostel?" Eugene said as [Name] nodded hurriedly.

.....

"Hehehehe." Eugene chuckled as he shook his head as [Name] eyes widened. "No, of course not. We already talked about it [Nam]-" Eugene was cut off.

"Please! Just this once! I beg of you! Eugene, please! Just this once and never again!" [Name] pleaded as Eugene's dark cold eyes just stared at them, watching them plead and plead over and over again. He sighed as he caress their cheek and wiped the tears away.

"No, and that's my final answer." Eugene said as [Name] was heartbroken as they broke down while Eugene comfort them.

"Don't worry, we can still do other things for your birthday." "Bu- But hicc hicc this i-is-"

"Shhh.... it's alright. Just tell me what you want to do tomorrow."

The Fun Process of Imprinting

image

IMAGINE: You are the adopted child of the Cullens and you learn the hard way you are Paul Lahote’s imprint.  WORD COUNT: 4.1k

“You coming Y/N?” One of your brothers yells at you.

Rolling your eyes, you say goodbye to your friends and turn around. Your third oldest brother smiled as you made your way over to him and the rest of your siblings.

“You guys are really impatient, you know that right?” You tease Emmett, softly slugging his arm. His wife, rather, one of your sisters, grabbed you by the hand and led you into the car.

“Carlisle wants to see us right away. Esme called us and said it was an emergency.”

Your eyebrows immediately scrunch together as you pile into the family’s car. Alice starts up the vehicle as the rest of you try not to worry about what your father wanted to talk to you guys about.

“It’s probably nothing,” Jasper tried to soothe you.

Your emotions were coming off strong as you tried suppressing your fear. He leaned across Emmett (Both your sisters sat in the front as Rosalie called shotgun!) and took your hand in his.

Despite him having problems with blood and humans, your brother taught himself to familiarize your scent ever since you were a child. It didn’t affect him as bad as Bella did or the others did.

Seeing that you were still stressing out, Jasper manipulated your emotions until you felt calmer. Sending him a smile, you nod your head in thanks.

“Let’s see how much trouble we’re in now,” Emmett muttered as Alice pulled into the driveway of the house.

“I have to what?!” You ask your father incredulously. Carlisle sighed as he repeated the news.

“Bella,” he began, gesturing to Edward’s girlfriend, “has talked to Billy Black about our… Situation. The pack has taken it into their own hands and has asked to talk to you.”

The first time you heard it, you flat out refused. The wolves already brought trouble to your family. Jacob Black, an old friend of Bella’s had gotten pissed once he found out she was dating your brother. He was ready to tear your family apart.

“No!″ You stated firmly. “If they’re worried that you guys turned me into a vampire, can’t Bella just tell them that I’m still human?”

Carlisle shook his head. Running a hand through his blonde locks, he stared you down with his golden eyes.

“Y/N, we don’t have much of a choice. Sam Uley has demanded your presence. It’s for the best that we respect their wishes.”

After a small stare off, with you glaring at Carlisle as he pouted silently, you finally gave in to your father’s puppy-like gaze and huffed.

Turning to Bella, you begrudgingly asked, “When did they want to do it?” You watch as she and Edward share a wary glance before spitting out an answer.

“Now.”

Bella’s truck purred underneath you as she drove to the reservation. The two of you were quiet as she drove down the road. To say you were mad was an understatement.

You were livid!

What were those mutts thinking when they demanded that you were brought before them? They acted as if the Cullens had no say in the matter, and it pissed you off.

To keep your mind off of what was to come, you gaze out the car window and watch the scenery roll past. The blurred trees reminded you of your childhood, and you gleefully lost yourself to your memories.

Your ten-year-old self stumbled through the forest as you climbed over a fallen tree. Out of the corner of your eye, you see a familiar blonde peeking out from behind a tree.

Several hundred yards away, you hear Esme call out to you. “Run little deer!” She laughed. “Don’t let Rosalie catch you!” A giggle escapes your lips as you run even faster.

Out of nowhere, dainty hands wrap around your waist as you’re suddenly lifted into the air. You can’t help but shriek with glee as you make eye contact with Alice.

“Got you, you little monkey,” she teased as she tossed you into the air. The other Cullens suddenly crowded the two of you. They all greeted you with smiles as they complimented you.

Surrounded by people who cared about you, feeling genuine love and care. You were glad that you found the Olympic Coven. You were one with the Cullens, despite your mortality. Life could never be better.

Bella gently tapped you on the shoulder, breaking you out of your trance. “We’re here,” she explained, pointing to a wooden house.

It looked cozy and if you weren’t living with the Cullens, you’d be interested in getting a house like this. But knowing that it was home to shape-shifters made your skin crawl in a way that it shouldn’t.

With a groan, you exit the car and walk to the front. As Bella sided up to you, she sent you a reassuring smile before leading you to the door.

As if sensing her presence, the infamous Jacob Black stepped through the open sliding door. “You’re here!” He said incredulously, not believing his eyes. His gaze between you and Bella constantly changed, switching between total adoration and deep skepticalness.

“Look,” you suddenly state, surprising both teenagers. “Neither of us wants me to be here so lets cut to the chase. Take me to your pack leader or whatever and say what needs to be said. I can feel my family pacing back at the house and it’s driving me up the wall.”

Jacob raises an eyebrow but gestures for you to follow him. He leads both you and Bella into the kitchen where you see a woman busying herself with food. Your friend quickly recognized her and wasted no time in giving her a hug.

“Emily!” Bella greeted her happily.

“Bella!” Emily replied in the same tone. As the two parted, you finally got a good look at the girl who embraced the loner of Forks.

The scar lines did not faze you, but it raised your ever-growing fear of shifters. You knew how dangerous they were, and this sight did not help.

“You must be the Cullen’s special child,” she noted, offering a hand. You take it politely, not wanting to seem rude.

Growing under Carlisle’s hand had its effects on your mannerisms.

“That I am,” you confirm, giving her a firm shake. After the two of you properly introduce yourselves, you ask the girl about the pack’s whereabouts.

“Oh, they’ll be here in a bit,” she assured you. “The boys always go out for a run this time of day and they’re starving. Just give it a minute.”

It doesn’t take long for the boys to pile in but by then, you, Bella and Emily have gotten into a pleasant conversation. It quickly ends when you hear an obnoxious voice complaining about a repulsive smell.

“Great, another leech lover roaming around here. Since we’re getting so cozy, why don’t we just invite the damned things over and be done with all this bullshit?”

Turning around, you see a handful of dark-haired males make their way to the door. Emily smiles as she made her way to greet them. One man detached from the group as he pulled Emily into a loving grasp.

The other males walked in and made their way to the kitchen, immediately ransacking it of any food they could find. You look to Bella in disbelief, to which she only shrugged. Shaking your head, you quickly stand up and clear your throat. All eyes quickly find their way to you.

“Look, I know you guys aren’t in a big rush but I’ve got school tomorrow and my dad is going to kill me if I miss a class. So can we just cut to the chase and get this over with?”

The man who previously had busied himself with Emily, nodded as he carefully pushed past his girlfriend. “Sorry for calling you on such brief notice,” he told you. “I’m Sam Uley, this is my pack.”

You glance at each of the wolves. Most of them seem as disinterested with you except for one. His dark brown eyes burn into yours as your stare meets his.

He freezes for a moment, but you quickly brush it off and return your attention to Sam. This mutt has probably never seen a girl that wasn’t born on the reservation.

“What has my family done to piss you guys off now?” You ask calmly.

“Nothing,” Sam promised you. “It’s just, our ancestors and the Cullen’s have made a treaty with them. They can’t-”

“I know all about the treaty,” you interrupt. “My family can’t harm humans or cross into Quileute land. I may not be a shape-shifter like you guys, but I’m not a dumbass. Even if you think I’m just a leech lover.”

You watch the pack leader send a quick glare to the mutt who couldn’t keep his gaze off of you. It quickly softens, making you curious at the sudden expression change.

Looking back, you see that his eyes haven’t left your figure. The only difference this time, you see his lips pulled back in disgust.

“Got a problem, pretty boy?” You snarl at him.

The wolf looks taken aback by your snarkiness, but quickly replied with his own comeback. “I just don’t see why the hell you’re even here on our territory. I guess you’re human, which means we can’t kill you, but if it was one of those bloodsuckers…”

Everyone was quiet as you marched up to the man and pressed your finger to his chest. You heard the girls gasp (And even a few of the guys) but you paid no attention to that.

“Listen here, you little shit,” you told him sharply. “I don’t give a damn on what your views are on vampires but let me set one thing straight. You will never disrespect my family ever again! Do I make myself clear?”

He quickly smacked your hand away as he leaned in closer.

“Paul…” Sam warned with a growl. “Don’t do anything you might regret.”

“It’s not my fault she comes from a family of monsters,” Paul shot back, not breaking eye contact.

“The Cullens aren’t the monsters here,” you spit at the wolf. “I’m standing in the presence of a certain snot-nosed dog who has never heard of a nose hair trimmer.”

You watched as the shirtless male snarled; his nostrils flaring as he struggled to control his breathing. A pang of fear flashed through you as you watched him slowly lose his temper. One wolf noticed and quickly grabbed your hand, attempting to pull you back.

Paul had not taken this lightly.

“Quil, remove your hand before I do it for you!” He barked, baring his teeth like a pissed off animal. The wolf quickly lets go of you, sending you into a spiral of confusion.

“Sam?” Bella asked out of nowhere. “What did Y/N do to Paul?”

The pack all shared a look before most of them dog-piled the angry shifter. Sam ordered Jacob to take you and Bella home. As Black hesitated, Paul shook more and more as his anger took over him.

“NOW JACOB!” The leader screamed before joining the pile.

Wasting no time, Jacob grabbed you and Bella by the hands and dragged you out of the home. All three of you scrambled into the vehicle as Jake stole the keys from his friend and started up the car. As it roared to life, you peeled out of the driveway and hit the road.

“Call them,” Jacob commanded Bella. “Gather the Cullens and get them as close to the reservation as they can. Y/N needs all the protection they can get.”

“From Paul?” You ask. “What the hell is even going on?”

Bella looks to her friend in realization as it hits her. “He couldn’t have… It’s not possible!”

“Anything is possible,” Jacob replied. You watched as the numbers cranked higher and higher on the speedometer.

“Would you mind telling me what’s possible and what it has to do with me?”

It was as if you were invisible. Both Jacob and Bella knew what was going on with Paul, but they left you in the dark. This is why you preferred vampires. They always said what was on their minds. Most of the time at least.

A loud howl breaks you out of your thoughts, making Jacob stiffen. "What is it?" You ask him worriedly.

"Paul's pissed," the wolf muttered. Without another explanation, he forced the Chevy pickup to run even faster, causing it to emit several groans under the stress.

"Carlisle is sending Edward," Bella reported.

Her friend slammed his palms against the steering wheel. "He needs to bring all of them! Call him again!"

"I can't!" She replied. "He's already on the way!"

"Would y'all just calm the hell down and tell me what's going on?" You scream at them, tired of being ignored.

And just as it seemed like one of them was finally going to answer your questions, something heavy slammed itself against the back of the truck.

The car went flying as it skidded across the road. You and Bella held onto the dashboard as Jacob struggled to keep the truck from flipping. The car came to a sudden stop when the same weight latched on and forced it to slow down.

Bella looked over her shoulder and paled at the sight. "What is it?" You ask her, not wanting to see whatever was keeping you back. You knew exactly what it was, but you preferred not dying if Paul was still angry.

"Stay in the truck," Jacob ordered as he quickly left. He left your line of sight as he headed towards the back. Bella quickly ignored this as she noticed her boyfriend approaching the scene.

"Edward!" She cried, throwing off her seatbelt and running into his arms. Giving her a kiss, he spared a glance towards Jacob and Paul before looking at you.

'I'm fine,' you told him mentally. 'Just get me out of here before Paul rips out my throat!'

Just before you can even think about getting out, you hear a series of growls and snarls before the sound of crying catches your attention. You quickly whip around and see two giant wolves fighting each other.

The shifter who had cried out had been the chocolate brown wolf with the limp. The back legs were matted with fresh blood and his coat covered in dirt. A gasp escaped your lips as you watched him struggle to fight back.

The other wolf was different.

Its fur was silver and gray, and it shined in the darkness. The mouth seemed to be covered in red as it snapped at the other animal. Despite being smaller, it fought with more ferocity than you thought it had.

As you scrambled out of the car, Bella cried out as she watched the fight. "Jacob!"  At the name, the chocolate wolf turned its head in your direction. The silver shifter took this chance and tackled him.

Fear hit you as you realized that this was Paul.

Edward focused on him as Bella rushed to you. "Stop him!" She told you. "He'll kill Jake!"

"What do you expect me to do?" You asked her. "It's not like he'll listen to me! Didn't you hear him call me a leech lover?"

"Just do it," Edward said. "Paul imprinted on you Y/N. He can't resist you."

Before you could ask what he meant by imprinted, your brother pushed you towards the wolves. Automatically, Paul focused his attention on the vampire behind you. He bared his sharp teeth angrily as he snarled.

With another shove from Edward, you gulped silently before approaching the wolf. He paid no mind to you as he stared your sibling down.

"Say something to him," Bella offered after you struggled to distract him.

"Paul?" You shakily called out.

The wolf let out a growl as he spared a glance at you, but otherwise did nothing.

"I know we just met and all," you try again, taking a hesitant step towards him. "But I think I know when to say you need to take a chill-pill or something."

Still nothing.

"You need to encourage him," Edward instructed.

As you turned around to look at him, you heard Paul snarl angrily. Snapping your head back in his direction, you try something different.

"Paul, I need you to calm down," you tell him. Two more steps. "I can't have you hurt any more people. I don't know what you're going through, but I'm not worth it."

This had caught Paul's attention. He tore his attention away from Edward and Jacob as he settled his gaze on you.

Another pang of fear hit you as Paul slowly approached you. His sly movements reminded of how a hunter goes after its prey. The fear worsened as you realized you were the prey.

As if reading your thoughts (Which he probably was) Edward spoke up. “He won’t hurt you. He’d rather die than do anything of the sort.”

Proving the point, Paul gently prodded his large snout against your hand once he was close enough. You flinched at the blood that soaked into his fur, but otherwise froze at his presence.

He tried poking you again before he let out a whimper.

“He thinks you’re rejecting him,” Edward explained. “You need to show him you aren’t.”

With a shaky breath, you slowly place your hand on top of Paul’s head. His giant ears twitched, making you freeze. It wasn’t until he whimpered again that you moved. Your fingers run through his fur eagerly. A low moan left his muzzle as he leaned into your touch. Once you were sure that he had calmed down, you faced Bella and Edward.

“Get Jacob out of here,” you tell them. “Paul’s stable now, but I can’t say the same later. Go now. Take the car.”

Bella goes to argue, but your brother took her by the arm and shook his head. They make their way towards the wolf. As you watch the girl try to coax her friend to come with them, Paul catches your attention once more.

He ran his giant tongue across your open palm, which you quickly recoiled from. Only after hearing his sad whine did you apologize.

“I’m sorry. I just really don’t want you to bite off my hand or anything. I know you don’t like my family, so...”

Paul growled angrily, making you jump back like a frightened cat. The shifter realized his mistake and whimpered. Tired of not being able to talk to you properly, he slowly backed away before he changed.

You winced at the sound of bones snapping and arranging themselves in a different order. The thick fur seemed to melt away as the silver wolf disappeared into Paul.

You had gone to say something before you realized that he was very nude.

Especially down there.

“Y-you’re um... You’re not really... Covered,” you mumble, keeping your eyes glued to his face. You can feel your face burning up as he glances down to see that nothing was covering his area.

“Sorry,” he told you sincerely. “But I don’t really have anything to cover it up.”

Without a second thought, you shrug off your plaid and hold it out to him. Paul sends you a grateful smile as he takes the shirt. Quickly tying it around his waist, the shifter then scratched the back of his head nervously.

“I didn’t mean to scare you back there,” he told you honestly.  “It’s just- I’ve got problems with anger and- You’re my soulmate and it doesn’t help that your family are vampires and- There’s so much on my mind right now.”

You barely make eye contact with him for a second before you quickly look away.

It’s not that you feared him. I mean, you were terrified, but the things that were coming out of his mouth were terrifying. You were soulmates... With an angry shifter who hated vampires.

Things didn’t look so bright for you.

“We should probably go check up on Jacob and the others,” you tell him quietly. “Bella called my dad and my family is probably worried by now.”

As you walk back towards the reservation, Paul grabbed your hand. You jumped at his touch but calmed down when he gave you a reassuring squeeze.

“Why won’t you look at me Y/N?” He asked quietly. “I know I’m not exactly what you’re used to, but I’m honestly trying here.”

“I... I know you are. But it’s just a little hard. This is just so sudden.”

Just as you go to say something else, you stumble over a sudden dip in the road. If it hadn’t been for the shifter’s quick movement, you were sure you would’ve fallen on your face.

Paul had grabbed you by the arm and pulled you into his grasp. Once you had been close enough, he then scooped you up into his arms, far off the ground. On instinct, you wrapped your arms around his neck and clung to him like a baby koala.

“You all right?” He asked you quietly.

“I-I’m fine,” you stutter. “J-just having a b-bad day, apparently.”

Paul made sure you were all right before he continued to make his way back to Emily’s house. You were content just staying there in his hold, but something felt off.

You did just meet this guy an hour ago.

“Are you going to set me down?” You ask Paul quietly. The shifter glanced at the road before he shook his head with a smug grin. He only held you closer as he carried you back towards the reservation.

“Set him down there,” Sam commanded Edward. With a nod, the vampire helped a newly shifted Jacob onto the couch.

“It was my fault,” Jacob groaned suddenly. “I was stupid enough to separate Y/N from Paul. That’s the worse thing you could ever do.”

Edward took a step back as the other shifters surrounded their brother. They all joked about how stupid he was, but anyone knew that they were just happy he was okay.

“I can’t contact Paul,” Sam confided within Edward, away from all the fiasco. “I know he’s somewhere out there but-”

“He’s right outside,” Edward interrupted, looking towards the staircase.

Sam took a single whiff of the air before he bolted down the steps. Edward gave Bella a swift kiss on the forehead before joining the shifter downstairs.

What he saw made him want to screw the treaty and rip off a shifter’s head.

Paul stood in the kitchen practically naked. The only thing that covered him had been a (Favorite Color) plaid around his waist and Y/N clinging to his chest. One of his arms supported their legs while the other held their body closer to him.

Edward took a step forward to check on his sibling, but the shifter had other ideas.

Paul let out a low growl, a ferocious sound as he glared daggers at the vampire. His grip on Y/N only tightened as he bared his teeth, ready for an attack.

“Paul,” Sam warned. “It’s okay, just let him check them.”

Paul let out another growl before slowly nodding his head. Edward didn’t waste another moment as he placed his hands on Y/N’s face. The shifter couldn’t hold back a cocky grin as the figure in his arms almost recoiled at the coldness in the touch.

Paul... Want to stay.

Edward grimaced at the fact that Y/N willingly wanted to stay with these mutts, but he was in no position to deny them. Especially since he could never deny his baby sibling of anything.

“They’ll be safe here?” Edward asked no one in particular, removing his hands from the girl’s face.

“I’d protect them with my life!” Paul snarled protectively.

I know you would, the vampire thought. Refraining from rolling his eyes, Edward spared Y/N a last peek before making his way back up the stairs to retrieve Bella.

Paul didn’t spare him another glance as he stared at you.

This was going to be a complicated relationship, but neither of you would dare to pass it up.

Metal Family - Dee x Reader :

She Fuckin’ Hates Me

(Part 4 - Final)

Part 1, Part 2, Part 3

Masterlist

When Dee returned to his room after speaking with his parents, and ignoring Heavy's questions, he layed on his bed thinking things through.

He was starting to feel guilty that he was putting so much blame on y/n when he didn't know their side of the story. Perhaps he really had offended them?

After taking a nervous breath, he decided to message y/n again, to hopefully clear the air. It occurred to Dee that he was so obsessed with getting positive feedback from them, when he hadn't once complimented their ideas... and he had to admit they were good ideas.

So here he was, typing another message, praying it would get through to them.

Hey y/n, just wanted to let you know, I think your ideas are actually pretty awesome and this project wouldn't be half as good without them. I know I don't say it, but you're smart and you've put so much great work into this project. I just wish I could hear your thoughts on my idea? I would actually appreciate hearing your opinion

Dee hated how vulnerable and mushy it sounded, but knew it was all true, so with a last breath of courage he hit send. After a small pause, he typed another short message, just to seal it up.

And I'm really sorry if I acted like too much of a bitch

Send.

And now Dee waited. Again.

-

Dee woke up bright and early for school the next day. All was fine until he saw his phone. Still no reply! Dee was really pissed now. He'd tried so hard to be sincere, and they weren't even trying to cooperate! As much as Dee wanted to feel angry, he felt dejected more than anything. Which bugged him, because he really shouldn't care this much.

As he left for school, he had a determination to find y/n and ask them why the fuck they've been ignoring him. No more compliments and nice words, they threw that chance away. Now he wanted answers.

When he arrived, he immediately scanned the halls looking for them. Seeing them by their locker, he approached with his prominent-as-ever bitch face.

Y/n jumped when they turned and saw him, startled by seeing him. Dee was just about to start ranting, when y/n beat him to the punch.

"Dee! I've been meaning to talk to you." They started, not seeming annoyed, or ready to laugh at him, so he held his tongue and waited for them to continue. "You haven't by any chance found my phone at your place? I've been searching for it all weekend, and I only thought this morning that I might have left it at yours."

Dee didn't know how to process this new information. He always knew there was a possibility that they just misplaced their phone, but he had been so consumed with thoughts of them rejecting his ideas, he hadn't truly thought of that being the case. He suddenly felt a little self conscious, both at the way he had been acting all weekend, and the message he had sent them.

"Umm, no I haven't seen it, but I haven't exactly been looking for it, so..."

Y/n huffed a little, thinking before asking, "Do you mind if we work on the project at yours today? I could keep an eye out for my phone as well."

Internally, Dee was panicking. Why? He wasn't too sure. There were many reasons, but all he knew was that them coming over today meant finally discussing his idea, and he was nervous to actually hear what they thought after all the suspense. But he didn't have a good excuse, so he said to meet him outside the school like always, at the end of the day.

-

Walking back to his house, his steps in sync with y/n's, he was quiet, and slightly anxious. He had been all day, and he'd tried hard in vain to delete his message. For some absurd reason, he couldn't. Dee was good with technology, so given some time and a clear head, it wouldn't have been a problem. But during school, Dee had neither of these things.

Dee could only hope at this point that y/n doesn't find their phone. How ironic.

When they arrived at Dee's house, he ushered them inside, hoping to avoid seeing his parents. He didn't want them asking questions, considering his conversation with them yesterday. That would be the cherry on top of embarrassment.

"So, any new ideas?" y/n questioned after taking their usual spot on his desk chair.

Dee took a shaky breath readying himself to finally share his idea. "Actually, yeah, I think it's a decent idea, but y'know, it depends what you think.." Dee was babbling, and already feeling embarrassed for how he was acting. But lucky for him, y/n was far away and not even listening.

"Hold that thought!" Y/n got up suddenly, crossed his room and picked up their phone off of one of his shelves. "Aha! I knew it had to be here!" They seemed so triumphant, they didn't notice Dee's rising panic. The message he sent them was still on their phone. And his time was up.

In a last ditch effort, he tried to distract them by speaking again, but they were already going through their notifications.

"Sorry, give me one sec just to check if any of these are important." They mumbled while seeming to discard most of what was on their screen. "Oh! Sorry I haven't been able to reply to you, had no clue you messaged me."

Dee leaped off the bed at that, trying to gain their attention. "You really don't have to read that! It's not important!" He practically plead, but they were already reading.

As y/n pored over his words, the heat in his cheeks grew, and he stood awkwardly in front of them, accepting his fate, and having no clue what to do.

Y/n read intently at his theory, and had an impressed look on their face by the end of it. But Dee couldn't read them, he had no idea what their expressions meant. Were they judging him? Trying to contain their laughter? Silently mocking him? Had they read everything, or only one line? He was in the dark.

Y/n was about to comment on how good his theory was and how they should use it, before they moved on to the next message.

Y/n's heart melted at the words. He had been so genuine and sincere, and seemed to really care about what they thought. Y/n never knew Dee had cared so much. Y/n's little smile grew tenfold, accompanied by a little chuckle when they saw the last message. Dee had been a bit of a bitch, and so had y/n, and for so long they had been rivals because of it. But y/n didn't care about that any more. They felt appreciated.

Y/n glanced up at Dee's cherry-red cheeks and giggled again, before hugging him tightly. Dee didn't know what he expected, but it wasn't this. But after a moment's hesitation, he slowly returned the hug.

After pulling back, y/n finally spoke, a light blush dusting their cheeks as well. "I think your idea's amazing... we should definitely use it, I mean, you're so incredibly smart, I don't know why you ever needed my confirmation!" They both chuckled at the last bit, but Dee looked at them with sincerity in his eyes.

"I care about what you think because you're so smart yourself, and maybe... maybe I wanted to know that you were impressed by my ideas, I just-! I just think you're kind of incredible, and didn't want to seem dumb."

Dee avoided eye contact for a moment, but after hearing no response, he chanced a look at them. After one brief second of eye contact, y/n moved forward and kissed him sweetly. His eyes went wide before he closed them and melted into their embrace. Y/n's hands snaked round his neck and their hand lightly twisted his long blond hair. His hands found their waist, and they stayed like that for a short second before pulling away breathless. The two were smiling like idiots.

No more words needed to be said, instead y/n sat down next to Dee on his bed - for the first time he noted, but was more than ok with it - and they laced their hands together, avidly talking about their project. Both of their ideas were spoken highly of, with many compliments and smiles given.

Y/n stayed long after they were done with the project, and the two talked about everything and nothing. Both were happier, even when it came for y/n to leave. And that's how they stayed. (There was also a lot more making out!)

-

A/N: ok, I'm super sorry this took so long, but this is finished now, and I'll try and get some one shots and requests completed! Also, I made this chapter gender neutral, and I'll update the others do they are too! I really hope everyone enjoyed, and thank you so much for over 1k reads, that's way more than I could have hope for!

Hope you have a great day/night,

Metal Family - Dee x Reader:

She Fuckin’ Hates Me

(Part 3)

Part 1, Part 2

Masterlist

Dee and y/n had spent a few meetings working on their project, some at y/n's house, some at Dee's. As predicted, there'd been plenty of arguments, both trying to be the best and take the lead. But in the end, they both had to admit that the other had some pretty cool ideas, and they're presentation was shaping up to be a pretty damn good one.

But they're not actually going to admit that, obviously. And the arguments just kept coming. Neither would swallow their pride long enough to give good credit to the other - even when they knew they deserved it.

Sometimes one of them would come close to complimenting the other, having to build it up in their head first... then the other would ruin the moment with an asshole-ish remark, and they'd wonder why they ever thought to say something in the first place.

Then, something happened, and that changed. That caused their dynamic to change. That kinda made everything change, it seems.

It was a very slow build up. And it started with a text message.

-

Dee was up late, and an epiphany struck him about their project. It was a brilliant idea, really. He could've waited to bring up the idea in person, and played it cool, but he was actually quite proud of himself, and decided to text y/n at 12:04 at night instead. They were online seventeen minutes ago, it was likely they'd see it.

They didn't reply that night. Dee checked once again, and when he saw no reply, gave up and went to sleep - they were probably sleeping too.

The next morning, Dee woke up to see no reply, still. It was a Sunday, they were probably sleeping in late.

It was mid way through the day when Dee really began to get annoyed. Why weren’t they answering him? He knew they didn't get along, but this was strictly work-related, and they could at least begrudgingly work together for the sake of their grade.

They haven’t been this petty before, but surely after so many hours, they would've seen his message. But why are they ignoring him?! Maybe he pissed them off somehow? But what could he have said that's worse than what he says already? ...And that warrants ignoring the project that they care about just as much as he does? He just can't figure them out! Maybe that's why they frustrate him so much.

Everyone in the household was beginning to notice Dee's growing temper, and thin-wearing patience. While Glam decided to give Dee space, letting Dee come to him if he so wished, Heavy decided to constantly badger Dee, wondering what was bugging him so much. Victoria was curious on the inside, but didn't want to seem mushy, so decided to call on him each time he lashed out, but not push on the subject - he'd tell her if he wanted to.

But Dee kept it to himself. He didn't want to appear like he cared about y/n’s opinion. He doesn't. He just wants to get on with the stupid project. But they could at least show him they’ve read it! Even if they just say they'll discuss it in person, they should at least acknowledge it! But, y'know, it doesn't matter anyway. Who cares what they think?

Then Dee had another epiphany. What his message to them was a bad idea? What if it was stupid? What if they saw it, laughed at it, and decided to wait so they can laugh in his face? He read over the message again, and again, having thought this, and although he couldn't see any flaws in his theory, his insecurities and doubts were still there. What if it was something so dumb and obvious, he kept missing it?

It was then that the rest of his family became uneasy too. Dee was many things, confident being one of them. It was in his nature to be a bitchy teenager, so they weren't too bothered before, but now... now, Dee seemed anxious, and that didn't happen often. Glam and Victoria decided, if he didn't talk to them soon, they'd bring it up, make sure he's ok.

He didn't talk to them, naturally.

-

After dinner, Dee started to get up and leave, as per usual, with it being Heavy's turn to wash the dishes.

"Dee," Glam called, and Dee glanced back, "can you sit back down for a moment please, your mother and I were hoping to have a word." Dee groaned dramatically, but sat down anyway.

Upon seeing Heavy slow his movements, and lean back an inch, Victoria called out to him. "Hey! Heavy, scram!"

"No dishes?" He questioned hopefully.

"No, leave 'em, just go to your room." Heavy dropped the dish he was holding rather harshly, making a big splash in the sink full of water, but payed it no mind. He gave a little 'yesss' while punching the air slightly, then ran off before she changed her mind. While Heavy would love to eavesdrop and know what his parents were saying to Dee, getting out of chores was much better.

Glam and Victoria shared a small look, silently deciding who would be the first to speak, while Dee just looked on with his resting bitch face, expectantly.

"Dee," Glam started, evidently losing the battle (not that he minded, he just wanted to give Victoria the chance to speak first, should she want it) - "we just wanted to ask, if everything's been ok lately?"

Before Glam could continue, Dee got instantly defensive. "Of course it is, why wouldn't it be? I'm fine." He got up to leave again, but was sat back down by his mother's glare.

"Dee, we're concerned." Glam continued. "You've been acting strangely lately, more on edge, like something's bothering you. We just want you to know that you can talk to us, with no judgment."

"Yeah!" Victoria piped up, as if just realising that she should probably say something reassuring as well. "If there's something really bothering you Dee, we won't criticise or make fun." A side glance from Glam made her huff slightly, but correct herself, "Ok, I won't criticise or make fun."

Dee looked apprehensive for a second, debating whether to talk to them. He decided it might be worth getting their opinion. He knew Glam would give his honest opinion on his theory, and if it's any good or not, and he could trust his mother to be honest about if he's overreacting to y/n's lack of response.

"Ok, fine, but I need you to be brutally honest with me... you too ma." Victoria visibly relaxed at that, knowing that it was her son's wish for her to be honest, without risk of hurting him.

"Ok, so, y'know the project I'm working on at school..."

-

By the time Dee had finished recounting everything, Glam looked with the same nonchalant gaze, and Victoria looked wildly confused.

"Dad, I was hoping you could look at my theory and make sure there's not something stupid I'm overlooking, I mean, what if there's a dumb mistake, and they’re just laughing at, and waiting to humiliate me, and..." Dee stopped himself, took a breath, and turned to his mother. "Ma, don't worry about all the other stuff, I just want you to tell me if I'm overreacting, and what you think y/n might actually be thinking here, cos I'm really lost, and, honestly, really pissed."

At this, Victoria visibly relaxed, and knowing her job was something capable, she instantly jumped to give her input.

"I'd say everything's fine! They probably can't be assed to do school work while they don't have to and will bring it up when you see them next, relax!"

Dee relaxed a little at her words, but was still nervous. He honestly didn't know why, y/n's opinion shouldn't matter so much to him. He just didn't want to seem dumb. He wanted them to see his intelligence. He just didn't know why.

Victoria saw that Dee still wasn't convinced, but wasn't really sure what she should say next. She was grateful when Glam pitched in after having read the theory that Dee had come up with.

"Well Dee, I must say, it's an excellent theory, no obvious issues. I agree with your mother, you're probably worrying over nothing. Perhaps they misplaced their phone over the weekend?"

Dee nodded slightly in acknowledgment, but couldn't get his mind to wrap around the fact that he was overreacting. Surely there was something wrong. Dee wouldn't get this anxious over nothing. All because of y/n's opinion! There's no way he cares that much.

"Dee, can I ask you something?" Glam asked cautiously. Dee glanced up as if giving permission, spurring him on. "Why are you in such a hurry to hear this person's response?"

Glam already had a feeling he knew the answer, and whether Dee knew it himself was another issue, but the way his face turned a light shade of pink confirmed Glam's suspicions.

Dee instantly got defensive, but that was likely because he didn't have an answer. "I don't know, I just- I just want to finish this stupid project, and their procrastinating isn't helping!" Dee spoke heatedly, and stormed out.

Victoria was about to snap something and call him back, but Glam put a hand on her arm, and filled her in on his thoughts.

-

A/N: ok, so I'll start off by saying, I'm so, so, so sorry that I took so long to write this! Also, I was hoping to finish this in this part, but it was already super long, and I didn't want to make it any longer, but I'll get the next part out a lot quicker now that I'm back in the swing of things. If you have any requests, feel free to leave them in the comments!

Have a great day/night,

Metal Family - Dee x Reader:

She Fuckin’ Hates Me

-

Summary: y/n and Dee never got along. Both were highly intelligent and competitive students. They always seemed to butt heads, but what neither knew was that they both secretly admired the other's traits, that they simply didn't have. It takes time for them to realise they're more similar than they thought. Dee x Reader

Masterlist

Y/n and Dee were at each other's throats, as per usual. Y/n got riled up easily, while Dee kept his witty, sarcastic remarks cool and collected. That's not to say he wasn't thoroughly annoyed - one more word and y/n knew he'd have a mini outburst, as aggravated people tend to do.

They both knew just how to push each other's buttons, and what the sure signs of victory were, knowing what got under the other's skin.

Anyone would tell you that the two were polar opposites. They would tell you that, past their common academic goals, the two had nothing in common. This wasn't true. They actually had many common interests, but neither ever paid enough attention to notice this, and everyone else only cared about the verbal battles rather than a possible make-up.

Y/n was high-strung and constantly stressed, Dee was calm, stoic, and collected. While Dee had a deep appreciation for art and music, he couldn't make them himself for shit, but to y/n, the arts came naturally as they often sketched and wrote music, playing in their band.

Y/n wanted Dee's ability to keep his cool, to not give a fuck about what people are saying, but not take shit all the same.

Dee wanted y/n's artistic skill, wanted to play instruments and read and write music, wanted to sketch and draw whatever came to mind.

In short, they were jealous of each other, and every time one of them bested each other in their common skill - knowledge, and academics - they took it hard, and personally, only fuelling their war.

-

All lesson, y/n and Dee had been fighting for the top spot in class, trying to answer more questions than the other, and trying to finish their work the quickest.

Their teacher was not dumb, and although he encouraged friendly competition, their rivalry had gotten out of hand.

That's right. It was partner project time!

When the teacher had announced a partner project, both were annoyed before they even knew the worst of it. Partner projects were annoying because it meant that they had to rely on someone else to help them get the grade they deserve, or end up doing twice the usual work alone.

It was then that the pre-chosen partners started to be announced... they listened and waited patiently for their names to be called.

It didn't take long for the outrage to settle in once their names were called together.

"Sir! You can't pair me with them!" Dee all but screamed across the room.

"The first and last time I'll ever say this, but I agree! We cannot work together!" Y/n hurriedly chimed in.

They teacher stopped reading off his list, anticipating this sort of reaction. "And why not?"

Dee sputtered for a minute with no good reason other than he didn't like them. It was times like this that y/n's stubborn and argumentative nature came in really handy.

"If you pair us together then our attitudes will clash and we won't be able to get anything done! If you pair with someone we're more compatible with, we're more likely to get better grades." Y/n shot back, fully expecting their argument to win.

They were, however, wrong. "Yes, but my prime goal is to prepare you for the real world. Sometimes you'll get paired with someone you don't like, and you'll have to make the best of it." Their teacher spoke carefully, words already prepared for their backlash. "Besides, you're both very bright students, I'm sure you have nothing to worry about. Now no more on the subject."

Y/n and Dee glared at their teacher one more time before finally giving up and stewing with rage in their seats.

-

When the lesson ended, Dee reluctantly went over to y/n. "Do you want study at your place or mine?"

Y/n eyed him cautiously. "Who says we have to study at either? We can always study in the library."

"No, because the library closes sooner, giving us less time. Not to mention, we'd probably get kicked out for screaming at each other after five minutes of work."

He had a point.

"Fine. We'll go to my place after school, meet me outside."

-

A/N: ok, I wasn't planning to, but I'm going to make this a two-parter, because it's already longer than I expected. Let me know what you think, and feel free to request!

Hope you have a great day/night,

Soobin, hey, it's me. I know we were never officially together or anything, but I saw that picture you posted on Instagram with him, and it felt like my heart was being carved out of my chest and stomped on, I guess I just needed to say it out loud, or, well, leave it on your voicemail.

I don't even know why I'm bothering you with this. It's not like we were a thing, right? But your smile in that picture… it hit me harder than I thought it would. I guess I got used to the idea of us, even if we never really defined anything. Maybe I just fooled myself into thinking there was something more.

I know it's silly, and I shouldn't be feeling this way, but damn, Soobin, it hurts- so much. And, I- i don't know, I just needed to let you know. I'm not blaming you- never. you're free to do whatever you want. I just didn't expect it to sting like this.

Anyway, sorry for rambling. It's just that my pillow still smells like you, and I miss your stupid face. I guess that's all I wanted to say. Take care, Soobin.

Halloo! It's me again! Sorry if I've been requesting alot, just needed some fluff after a stressful day π_π May I request a Technoblade x reader oneshot where the reader is obsessed over dinosaurs? Like collecting bones and drawing them? It's ok if not I won't pressure you. Hope you have a good day and take care :D (And you are very poggers!)

-🎮

AAAAAAAA I FORGOT TO POST THIS IM SO SORRY 🎮-

Anyways I hope you’re doing better my dear, make sure to food and drink water :)

Technoblade With A Dinosaur Obsessed S/O

It’s not something he’s particularly interested in, but he has so much interest in mythology that he doesn’t really judge you. It’s something you find happiness in, so why should he?

But don’t worry, if anyone thinks it’s childish he’ll make sure they go extinct as well.

-ONESHOT-

Standing up from his chair and stretching, he can’t help but this about his Y/N.  They’re usually what goes through his mind, but after a long amount of work it’s all that occupies brain. God what he’d do to cuddle them right now. He’s suddenly realizing how great teleportation is of a power.

  “Techno! Look what I found!”

While he would usually get scared from such a loud volume, the voice comforts him. Said piglin turns around and smiles at his lover.

“What is it dear?” “Look at these bones I found, they might be a fossil! Can I add this into my collection?” “You don’t need to ask me dear. You’re a grown adult, if you want to keep if you can keep it. Just make sure it doesn’t have any infections on it.”

He pats them on the head and they smile at the affection. “Okay! Can you come help me?” He chuckles softly, “Of course.”

The two lovers make their way to Y/N’s research lab to sanitize the possible fossil. When they enter, Techno examines the same room that he’s looked at thousands of times. The amazing drawings of dinosaurs, the fossils on display, all their equipment messily organized. He may have seen it thousands of times but he could never get bored of such an amazing room that always puts a smile on his s/o’s face.

“I have some extra gloves on the corner of my desk, oh and could you bring that white box next to it?” Y/N calls from her examination area.

Techno hums so they know he heard them. Goodness they were bit of a mess sometimes, but he loves them even more for it.

Holiday Special in Mondstadt

This was written for 2020 Christmas and decided to wait to upload it here. Be warned that characters revealed/released after December 2020 will not show up here.

Not a oneshot. Platonic!

Characters: Albedo, Amber, Barbara, Bennett, Diluc, Diona, Dvalin, Fischl, Jean, Kaeya, Klee, Lisa, Mona, Noelle, Razor, Sucrose, Venti.

You are the traveller.

Word count: 4.4k

---

Mondstadt was and is your first and forever home. It would be befitting to say the least, seeing as it was the first place tou stumbled upon and start your official journey to find your sibling. No matter where you are in Teyvat, the title of "Mondstadt's Honorary Knight" will be rung throughout that city and you wore it with pride. So, when Christmas came along, it was only natural to come home to your second family.

"(Y/N), is that you?" A voice, that you'd never forget in the many people you've heard speak, calls your name. You turned around and was greeted with the first local of Mondstadt and a whom was part of the Knight's of Favonius- Amber. "Hey, Amb--"

You were cut off as the brunette ran up and hugged you. You stumbled back a bit before returning her hug with a smile on your face. "Oh my Barbatos! It is you!" If you didn't know, Amber had missed you so and would cry, but she was a big girl to not cry over something silly such as a reunion. "Hey, Paimon is here too!" Another voice stepped in and Amber pulls back. "Oh, hey, Paimon! I'm happy to see that you're here too!" She gave the little, floating creature a smile as well.

"Anyway, what are you doing here? I thought you'd be off and in Inazumi when I heard the chaos died down in Liyue," she states, though still feeling happy that you returned. "Ah, I will.. I returned to Mondstadt to celebrate Christmas with all of you," you say in earnest. "Aw..!" She gave you another hug- this one being shorter.

"Oh, speaking of Christmas, Master Diluc is holding a Christmas party at the tavern tonight for just us- although it was kind of forced," she mumbled the last part, scratching her cheek. "Really? Then I'll be sure to come!" You missed going to the tavern to just loiter around and have a chat with the owner, so you took it as a chance.

"Well, I better be off to do a quick clearing of camps. I'll see you later, (Y/N)." She waves and turned around to walk away. But not even a step forward, you called her name, just remembering something. "I have something to give you," you said and turn to your floating companion who took something out from thin air and gave it you. "We bought you a gift!" It was a small, yet beautifully decorated, red box with golden ribbons.

A smile appeared on the girl's face as she happily accepts your gift. "Aw, thanks, (Y/N)! This is the best gift ever!" You laughed at her words. "But you haven't opened it yet," you point out. "But it's the best since it's from you!" You sigh whilst smiling at the girl and then tell her to go finish her mission.

"Well, where should we go to next?" Paimon asks. You ponder it for a moment, fingers under your chin. Then, "Oh, why don't we go visit Mona?" you suggest, wondering how the astrologist have been. Paimon nods with enthusiasm and the two of you walked to her place, but along the way, you met up with a certain knight in maid's clothing. "Hey, isn't that Noelle?" Paimon asks, pointing at the girl who was just exiting a house, probably was called to help the family in that house. "Oh, you're right! Hey, Noelle!" you call her name loudly, earning her attention.

You jogged up to her with a smile. "Honorary Knight, what are you doing in Mondstadt?" she asks with a genuine look of surprise. "I came to celebrate Christmas with all of you!" you answered and look at Paimon who got yet another gift, one whose colours matches that of the knight in front of you. "And we wanted to give all of you a gift."

She stares at the box in your hand with great surprise. Something so simple, yet so great to her, took her lips and tug it into a smile, looking up at you. "Thank you, Honorary Knight, but you don't owe me anything." You shook your head and push the gift closer to her. "It's Christmas! Of course, I'll be bound to give you something," you say. She took one look at it in your hands before happily accepting it. "Well, I must be off now. Take car of yourself!" You waved goodbye to the knight and continued your way to Mona's house, knocking on the door once at the foot of it. It took a while before hearing footsteps nearing the door. Upon opening it, the girl was caught by surprise at the sudden sight of you. "(Y/N) and Paimon? What are the two of you doing here?" she asks, a look of surprise on her face.

"Surprise!" you and Paimon cheers. "I thought you would have foreseen us coming," you joked, catching the astrologist to a baffled state. "Well, ah, um.. I don't use such power to look over at the littlest of things," she says proudly, earning a giggle from you and Paimon.

"Anyway, what are the two of you doing here?" She clears her throat. "We wanted to return for Christmas!" you answered. "And I also wanted to give you a gift." You outstretched your hand holding a purple box with star-like pattern adorned with a gold ribbon. The female was certainly surprised at the unforeseen event. "I, uh.." Words failed on her tongue, but accept the gift. She had never been given a gift before, so something even as small as your present meant much more than you'd realize. "I, thank you.. It's a wonderful gift," she said. You smiled at the girl, warmth filling up inside you at the sight of her genuinely thankful.

After a short conversation, you bid goodbye in search of the others whom you had planned to give gifts to. Of course, you stopped and gave gifts to the Wagner- the blacksmith- Katheryne, Marjorie, Stanley, and Sara before entering Cat's Tail.

The tavern was full of life with people who wished to seek shelter from the cold while enjoying a good glass of alcohol. Not too far from you, you see Diona behind the bar, making a glass of cocktail and giving it to a customer. You walked up and sat down at an available seat at the counter, waiting for her to come to you. "What can I-- (Y/N) and Paimon!?" she gasped. You smiled at the cat-like girl. "When did you come back?"

"Not too long ago," you answered. "Well, uh, what can I get you?" she asks, talking to both you and Paimon. "Ah, we don't want anything," you say and leave the girl giving you a confused look. "Then, what are the two of you doing here?"

"We wanted to give you a gift." With that, you handed her a pink decorated box adorned with a single, blue ribbon. "It's Christmas, after all." The little female stare at you with surprise. "For me?" she repeats, to which you happily nodded. The girl was then drawn to her mind, remembering that today was the day that she should go to Springvale to celebrate the holiday with her family. "Thank you, I mean it."

You left the tavern soon after, missing the warmth that it brought tou upon entering it. "Since we went to Cat's Tail, we should go to Angel's Share next!" Paimon suggests eagerly and you nodded, agreeing to go to the place next. Nearing the tavern, the booming sounds of laughter and chatter could be heard at a great volume. You opened to door and welcomed the warmth you missed for a couple of seconds when you left Cat's Tail.

A familiar, fiery-haired male was the first to look your way and his eyes reflected that of surprise. "(Y/N)?" The call of your name brought the second, familiar male to turn around in his seat. With a smile and wave at the two, you joined them at the bar, sitting two seats away from the second male. "Hey," you greet.

"Ho~ Why, if it isn't the Honorary Knight," Kaeya greets, a glass of alcohol in hand. "What brings you here, (Y/N)? Missed me that much, huh?" He laughs and you rolled your eyes, turning your focus to the winery owner. "Anything you'd like to drink?" he asks, arms unfolding from their day-to-day position. "What about Paimon? Paimon wants apple juice!" Paimon cries at her dismissal of presence. Diluc eyed her and gave her a quick 'okay' and nod before getting her a glass of apple juice.

"Anyway, I came to return for Christmas," you answered, talking to the Cavalry Captain. "How are you both anyway?"

"I have been doing just fine," Kaeya answers, turning his head to the male behind the counter. "I've been better," Diluc grumbles behind the bar, referring how Kaeya's entrance made his day worse, and gives Paimon her drink. "Aw, come now, dear brother, I know you miss my company~" Kaeya teases, attempting to provoke his older brother, but the stoic-faced, red-head didn't dare do anything, albeit a bit annoyed at Kaeya's presence.

"Ah, I heard you guys are throwing a Christmas party at the tavern tonight," you moved on. "That's right. My dear brother happily allowed us to celebrate here-- with him. I'm betting you that he doesn't want to be alone for the holiday," he grins at the sound of it. "Is there anywhere on my face that shows that I'm a bit happy?" Diluc questions, eyes narrowing as he glares holes into Kaeya, and arms crossed-- truly showing how annoyed he looks.

The interaction between the two of the males was something you had missed and couldn't help but laugh a little. Kaeya turns his head to look at you and smiled at your genuine laughter. "Looks like someone is having a good time," Kaeya points out. You nodded, giving a clear-eyed smile. Then, "Oh, right! I almost forgot to give you guys your gifts!" You turned to look at Paimon who had the gifts in hand. "These are for you two!" You handed both of them their reserved gifts and the two eye at the box with surprise.

It took an awkward second before Kaeya clears his throat. "Thank you, (Y/N). This is the best present." Kaeya smiles softly and ruffles your hair. How long has it been since the Cavalry Captain received a gift? He does not know. He reminisces, recalling the last Christmas spent with his family, where Crepus was alive and Diluc was smiling. That was probably the last time.

"Thank you, (Y/N). I am sure this is a wonderful gift," Diluc says and put the present somewhere safe until the day ends when he could come and collect it. You chatted with them for a while until you had decided it was time to go since you have other people to go give gifts to. "Where are we going next, (Y/N)?" Paimon asks. "To the cathedral." There was someone working there whom you have a gift for.

By the time you made it at the door of the cathedral, you were beat, the way up killing your legs. "Paimon is tired.." Paimon pants, a step ahead of you. You look at her, not understanding how, for someone who only floats, could get tired by floating pass the stairs. You shook your head and straightened yourself up. "Honorary Knight?" Someone calls from your right, on the side of the building.

You and Paimon turn your attention and see the maiden of the hour. "Hey, Barbara," you greet her with a smile. "It is you, Honorary Knight! What wind brought you back here?" she asks in great verve, walking closer to you. "The cold air from Snezhnaya," you answered jokingly.

"Anyway, I came here to give you a Christmas present for the holiday." You handed her a light blue box decorated with glitter and adorned with a darker blue ribbon-- just like the receiver of the gift. She was astounded by the gift in your hand and looks at you. "Is this really for me?" she asks.

"Who else would I climb these stairs for if not you?" The words that left your mouth warmed the idol's heart and accepted the gift. "Thank you, Honorary Knight. May the Anemo Archon protect you in your journey." You nodded and bid goodbye to the blonde and made your way down the stairs. "Are we going to the Favonius Headquarters?" Paimon asks, nearing the end of the staircase. You hummed to her question, seeing as the headquarters was just close by.

You greeted the knights who stood guard at the entrance and made your way inside. You knocked on the door that was the Acting Grand Master's office and hear a mumbled "come on" through the wood. Entering the room, you see Jean and Lisa sitting on the single couch in the office, and Klee on the floor, drawing. "Oh my, why if it isn't the cutie," Lisa greets, standing up. "Honorary Knight, what brings you here? Ah, wait.. You should have send notice of your arrival so that we could be a more welcoming," Jean says, following Lisa.

"Don't worry about it. I actually planned to surprise all of you by coming back abruptly," you say. Klee stood up from the ground and run up to you. "(Y/N), look at this! I drew it!" Klee holds up a sheet of paper with pride, showing you the interesting picture she drew.

"Ah, that's  very nice, Klee," you praised which made the young knight giggle shyly. "Anyway, what brings you here, Honorary Knight?" Jean asks, gaining you attention. "I came to celebrate the Christmas with you guys."

Jean smiles. "If that is the case, there will be a party at Master Diluc's tavern-- I'm sure you have heard of it by now?" she questions. You nodded. "Amber told me about it when I met up with her this morning."

"I see, that is good." You turn to look at Paimon who then again took at boxes from her infinity backpack. "I also came with presents for all of you," you said, gesturing at the three boxes.

"Ooh, presents! I love presents," Klee cheers, clapping her hands excitedly. You smiled and gave her her gift. It was a red box with a darker red ribbon adorned with a custom-made accessory of her bombs that she loves so much. "Yay!"

"Oh, you shouldn't have gone yourself to buy us a gift. Just your return is a great and wonderful surprise from Barbatos," Jean says, to which Lisa chuckles. "Be appreciative that the cutie brought back us gifts, Jean," she says and looks at you. You smiled and gave her a purple box, decorated with purple roses with a darker colour of purple lace as a ribbon. She thanked you and you went on ahead to give Jean hers-- a blue box that was the same colour as her cloak with a golden ribbon. "Then, thank you, Honorary Knight." The blonde smiles. "I'm guessing that we'll see you tonight?" You nodded. "Yeah. And oh, do you know where Venti could be?" you ask, not seeing him anywhere in places where he could be.

"I believe he said that he will be at Starsnatch Cliff," Jean answers and you gave a quick nod before bidding a bye for now. "Paimon don't see why we need to give Tone-Deaf Bard a present too," Paimon states once you two were outside of the headquarters. "Doesn't he get a lot of gifts from the people?"

You chuckled and shook your head. "He is our friend, of course we have to give him something too," you said.  "But before we go outside, let's go see four more people within the walls."

The first two weren't so hard to find as they were both in the same place. "Albedo, Sucrose, hey!" you greet, entering the spacious room filled with strange materials. "A, ah! Honorary Knight, when did you arrive in Mondstadt?" Sucrose greets, fumbling with a tube in her hand when she flinched by the sudden voice that broke through the silence.

"I came back this morning," you answered and stepped inside so you could shut the door from the cool air. "What happened, Sucrose?" Another voice spoke between the two of you, and from the back, emerges the blonde alchemist you were hoping to see around. "Oh, Honorary Knight, what brings you here?"

"Hey, Albedo, just here to drop by and give you two a gift and wish you a Merry Christmas!" you say and had Paimon take out two gifts for the two alchemists, the boxes reflecting that of their colour scheme. "Oh, ah, um, thank you, Honorary Knight," Sucrose says shyly, a small dust of pink on her face. Albedo gave you thanks as well, apologising that he had nothing to give you which you reassure that it was fine.

"We're going to the Adventurer's Guild next, right?" Paimon asks to which you nodded. There was two people that you wished to see.

"A-ah!? (Y/N), you're in Mondstadt?" A certain male bumped into you on your way to the Adventurer's Guild Hall and was quite surprised at the sudden sight of you. "Hi, Bennett!" Paimon greets the young adventurer. Bennett smiles and greets your floating companion. Then, "What brings you here, (Y/N)?" he asks, turning his attention from Paimon to you.

"We wanted to celebrate the holiday here-- in Mondstadt," you answered for the nth time of today. "And we also brought you a gift!" You gave him his present and see his eyes glimmer at the sight. He have been unlucky his whole life and many feared their lives when going on an adventure with him, so often than not, he doesn't receive gifts-- only the elders of the guild does so. "I, thank you so much, (Y/N), I mean it." He avert his eyes from the present in his hand and smiles at you. "You're welcome, Bennett," you said. "I would love to stay and chat with you for a bit, but the sun is setting way too quickly and I have others to see. Let's go on an adventure next time!" The last part warmed the boy and wave goodbye at you.

"What ho," a familiar voice calls upon you not too far away. "Why, if it isn't my loyal subjects. Say, what brings oneself back to thy master?" Before you stood none other than the chuunibyou of Mondstadt, Fischl.

"Mein Fraulein welcomes you back with great surprise and wonders why you are back," her bird companion, Oz, says. "We came back for the holiday!" Paimon says and you nod. "We also bought you a gift. I hope you like them," you said and handed two boxes to Fischl-- one for Oz and herself.

"I, uhm, thank you.." She looks at the presents with eyes agape of astonishment, and her words limited from the surprise. She looks at Oz and back at you and smiled, you returning hers with a smile of your own.

"Are we going to Starsnatch Cliff now?" Paimon asks once you both were outside of the city's walls, to which you nod. When you got close to the cliff, you see a large set of wings flapping in the distance. Knowing who it could it be, you rushed your pace in excitement.

"Venti! Dvalin!" you called, gaining  both of the owner's name attention-- Dvalin looks up whilst Venti turns his head around. "(Y/N)?" A smile appears on the bard's face. "Hey, Venti, how have you been?" you ask, making your way to sit beside Venti and Dvalin.

He chuckles. "I've been doing okay. Not many exciting things are going on since, well, you know.." He hinted at the Dvalin, scratching his head. "So, how was Liyue? Did you meet Rex Lapis?"

"About that.." You went ahead and excitedly talked about the chaos that was soon resolved in Liyue and mentioned how Rex Lapis was now a broke consultant of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlour, earning a laugh from both the bard and dragon.

"The old coot has finally decided to step down, huh?" Venti laughs once more. "Anyway, what brings you back in Mondstadt?"

"Isn't it obvious? Mondstadt is my first home upon arriving here, so I am bound to come when the holidays rolls in," you say and added, "We also brought you two gifts." Having said so, you gave Venti and Dvalin's gifts, a smile spread on your face.

"For me as well?" Dvalin sounds quite surprised and you laugh at the question. "Of course, why should I leave you out?" you question. The dragon remained silent for a while before thanking you in earnest.

"Oh, right, are you joining everybody else at Angel's Share tonight?" you directed the question to the Anemo Archon. "Do you need to ask? If Master Diluc will give me free drinks, then of course I will!" The four of you broke into another joyous laughter.

The sun was now fading in the distance when you and Paimon had to part ways with the other two to make one, last visit. "To Wolvendom we go, Paimon!"

When you were on the outskirts of the territory, the sun was nowhere to be see, and having the moon as your only light source. "Paimon thinks we shouold give his tomorrow.." Paimon quiver, looking anxiously for anything that might come and scare her.

"We shouldn't wait until tomorrow because it isn't Christmas anymore by then," you state. The walk was silent and you had to admit, you started to become anxious, the sound of crickets being the only thing that was making noise scaring you. You wondered where the wolf boy could be and if he was still out, wandering the forest.

In the dead silence, sound of bushes rustling in the distance came about, scaring both you and Paimon. "Eep! What is it?" Paimon asks, using you as a shield. You took out your sword and took a stance, waiting for whatever was hiding in the bush in front if you.

Then, to scare the both of you even more, the creature leapt out of the bushes. "AHH! Don't eat Paimon!" She closes her eyes and cowers behind you. You took a few moments before realizing what it was that you were staring and sighed a breath of relief, looking at Paimon over your shoulders. "Paimon, it was just a boar." The boar was long gone when it leapt from the bushes, frightened for its life.

"Oh, ah, that's good," Paimon says awkwardly. But wait, "Hey, what do you think it was running from?" you ask, remembering how it didn't simply walk out of the bush and ran, but was running through it as if it was being chased.

As if on cue, more rustling of bushes came from the same direction, but this one shaking the bush to its full extent. You readied your sword and Paimon returns to cower behind you.

It felt slow, but when the thing emerges from the bush, you were surprised to see who it was. "Gah, please don't eat Paimon!" she pleads with her eyes closed.

"(Y/N)..? And Paimon?" The sound of the person's voice made Paimon realize who it was and she opens her eyes. "Razor! So, it was you who was chasing the boar?"

"You see boar?" Razor's eyes lit up. "Yeah, it ran past us just now," you answered, seeing the boy droop his head down. "Ah, do you want us to catch you a boar?" The silver-haired male shook his head. "No need.. Want extra food.. For night.." he says. Ah, he was having those late-night cravings. Understandable, you mentally agree.

"What is you.. Here? Left adventure.. Night now," he asks. You smiled. It has been a while since you last talked to the wolf boy, so seeing him the same as before felt kind of comforting to know. You outstretched your hand with the present and said, "Merry Christmans, Razor."

The boy stare at the object in your hand, a bit confused and stare back up-- into your eyes. "This is for you," you said and urge him to take the gift. "For me..?" You nod, watching him hesitantly take the gift off of your hands. "Razor heard.. Of Christmas. Now know gifts," he says, feeling a bubble of happiness well up inside him. "Thank you.."

"You're welcome, Razor. I wish you a happy holiday with your family," you said, referring to his wold pack. He nods and bid you farewell, waving a hand at your retreating figure, a wolf soon appearing beside him and hint him to go back

"Paimon is hungry," Paimon cries. "Well, it is about time we should be heading to the tavern now, so just a few more walks and you can eat," you said, agreeing that you were hungry as well.

The tavern was filled with light emitting through the crack if the door. Pushing it wide open, you were greeted by a whiff of sweet aroma coming from the many food set before you. "(Y/N), Paimon! Glad you could make it!" Amber was the first to greet, a smile on her face, others quickly doing the same.

"(Y/N)-- hic-- come join me and have a drink!" Venti waves on over, a glass in hand. The bard had long started before all of you, wanting as many of the free wine he could get his hands on. You laughed at his state, joining him at the bar with Diluc behind it, a look of disbelief visible on his face.

The night was filled of warmth with merry people-- eating, drinking, chatting, laughing-- whatever floats your boat. Paimon was stuffed and couldn't take another bite. You watched the people who became your first family, a smile slowly spreading your face, happy of the choice to return for Christmas and join your very first Christmas in Teyvat with your family of this world.

Happy holidays everyone and have a happy new year! ^♡^

║Scaramouche║ Bothersome (R)

A/N: Sorry that this took a while.. ^□^" I was having a hard time to find motivation to write for this shorty. Also, a thank you to @/crownemo on Instagram for a particular edit that gave me motivation (it's been long overdue).

You don't know how it came to this-- from trying to see if he was okay with his work and offering him something to chow down- lest he starves- to you being forced to be down on your knees, cock forcefully shoved inside your mouth.

Your muffled pleas that were moaned into his cock goes unnoticed by him, his grip tightening on your hair in response. Shoving himself deeper into your mouth, his eyes squinted in disgust. “Tch, you’re so pathetic," he finally utters after a long silence, and just having himself in your mouth doing nothing more than just that.

"Don't try to act so meek now." He tugs on your hair, pulling you from his cock, mentally grinning at the saliva that trickled down your chin. "You know, I hate sluts like you who pretend to only want to help just to get fucked." He stood up from his office chair and with that, along with you.

Once he got you on your two feet once again, he immediately turned you harshly by the hair and pressed your chest on the desk, moving the papers that he worked so hard to finish for the Tsaritsa.

Getting on to it, he raised a hand and brought it down to your ass hard before rubbing the spot. You whimper at the stinging pain but secretly wished he'd continue-- "Tch. You're such a masochist," he said as if he could read your mind. "Unfortunately, I'm a little busy so I won't indulge into your fantasies today."

He grabs hold of both your arms and secured it behind you with a hand. His other hand went around your waist, slowly caressing your skin and stopping on your abdomen. Hot breath tickled your ears and you waited in anticipation for his next move.

What felt like minutes were actually just few, agonizing seconds. "Haha, you look so stupid right now. You want my cock? Then you'll get it." Without much of a warning, he stuffed his cock into your tight hole that was left unprepared for him.

Your legs failed on you at that moment as you let out a melodic moan. "Hnng- Damn it. I should've, I should've prepared you first," he groans, helping you stay on your feet. "Take.. Take it like the filthy slut you are." He pushes himself deeper until nothing of him is left.

You moaned in both pleasure of having him stuffed inside and in pain at the burning sensation of your walls being stretched.

Scaramouche did not care of how you were feeling, only thrusting himself slowly at first until just enough of your cum that coated his cock made it easier for him to go faster. You were a moaning mess under him. "You like this? Good because this is all your going to get tonight," he said, thrusting in the place that had left you seeing stars.

It wasn't long before you felt yourself close to release and Scara knew from feeling your walls squeezing around him. “Don’t you dare-- hngg-- cum yet,” he warned in a cold-sounding tone that was enough to frighten you even in such an erotic state.

You did your best trying to hold it in but him pounding into you at such a crazy speed made you lose your mind. “P, please, Scara..! Let me.. C, cum,” you manage to choke out after a while through your endless series of moans, drool trickling down from the corner of your mouth. “I, I can’t..!”

“Heh, you can’t? Too bad, you’re not going to cum until I say so, got it?” Even though you couldn’t see it, you knew he was smirking, enjoying your tormented expression. At this rate, you will be cumming twice the load.

The need of release was unbearable and through your tears, you came all over him without his permission. Your cheek hit the cold, wooden desk as drool came down to dirty it. It made you feel so good that you didn’t realize that Scaramouche stopped thrusting. It wasn’t like you wanted to disobey him but your body came on its own, no matter how much you didn’t want to disappoint him.

“Hey,” Scaramouche pulls you by your hair harshly, making you yelp in surprise and joly back to your fear, “Did you not listen to a word I said, you pathetic whore?” He stares down at you, disgust and anger written all over his face. “Tch. You can’t listen to rules, huh?”

He pushes your head back to touch the desk and grabs you by your neck, and starts thrusting into your sensitive hole once again. If the first time was too much for you, this time, he thrusts in an inhumane speed, hitting every inch inside you crazily good. “Scara..!” you manage to say. “I, I can’t.. P, please no more!”

“Oh? No more you say? First you were begging to cum and now that I’ve decided to make you cum twice, you say no?” His grip around your neck tightens and you could only choke out tears and moan, “You should be grateful that this cock is fucking you twice.” You made no noise, too exhausted to do anything but take him.

Since your first release was not too long ago and you were still sensitive, you felt your need to release build up inside you once more. “Heh, I can feel you squeezing tightly around me,” he says through gritted teeth as he pounds into you harder than before, also close to his release. “You better cum when I tell you to, got it?” He did not wait for an answer, knowing that you were fucked out to answer, but still had fear for him to listen.

Luckily, not too long after, you felt his thrust getting sloppier and sloppier by the second. Then, on his order, you came all over his cock again but this time, you felt yourself being stuffed full with his load. He did not stop right there, however, thrusting to you slowly, making sure that you were feeling full just as what he had thought you came to him for.

Afterwards, he releases his grip around your neck and pulls out. You shuddered at the missing feeling of his cock.

“You look disgusting,” he says, seeing your messy and fucked out face. His eyes wandered around his desk, sighing at the mess that you’ve made. “I’m going to shower. This place better be clean when I get back, got it?” He did not wait for an answer and made his way out of the office.

║Xiao║ Misunderstanding

Requested from Wattpad.

Gender-neutral.

Fluff.

Word count: 1.8k

---

A familiar sound of laughter could be heard coming from somewhere at the lower part of Wangshu Inn that had gotten the attention of the last surviving yaksha. A laugh that he found annoying, yet would miss if it weren't around. Your laugh.

He wasn't going to admit it, but he would always wait for you to come to meet him daily. He would rush in clearing the area for monsters, not wanting you or any other mortal getting hurt-- but you especially.

However, he notices that your laughter that grew closer from the stairs leading up to the highest part of the inn- where he was- was seemingly.. Too joyous, let's say. What were you laughing at? Were you talking to Verr Goldet on your way to him? No, she's always behind the reception desk during working hours; no way is she with you. And as rude as it may be, her humour was quite dry to have you cracking up that much.

The curious yaksha's golden eyes look towards the door, waiting for you to step on the last remaining stairs that'll finally allow him to see you and whatever- or whomever- was making you laugh. He knew that you weren't alone as he heard a second set of shoes. They were heavy. A man? Well, that was soon answered when he saw your figure peeking in his line of sight, along with the person you came with. Although he doesn't show it, what he saw was not a pleasant sight.

Who was the guy next to you?

His eyes narrow. Something in him made him feel.. Strange. He doesn't know what word (or words) to use to describe such mortal feeling but he knows that he hated it-- hated the sight with you laughing the way you did to another. You never laughed like that when you were with him.

You looked away from the person with who you had such a wonderful conversation with and to Xiao who was leaning against the railing. You didn't notice that something was off with him; he looked annoyed just like every other day you met with him so you greeted him with a smile. "Xiao! Hey, sorry to keep you waiting," you said. Xiao did not reply to your greeting and focused his attention on the taller male beside you. Then, "Who is he?" His head nods to the stranger, arms crossing. The guy seemed shady but nowhere in his perfect appearance could the yaksha pinpoint what was off with him.

"Oh, right. I should introduce you guys to each other. Xiao, this is Childe. Childe, this is Xiao-- the one I was talking to you about some moments ago," you said. "Hey, it's good to meet another of (Y/N)'s friends." Childe smiles, a hand rest on his hip. "Likewise," Xiao replies, although he didn't really mean it. All he wanted to know was what this Childe guy's relationship with you as you had never mentioned him in your guys' one-sided conversation before.

"Anyway, (Y/N), when are you finally going to accept my invitation?" Childe looks towards you with eager eyes. "What invitation?" You raised a brow at the ginger. "Eh? Did you forget? How could you, (Y/N)?" Childe dramatically clutches his shirt over his chest. "I thought you loved me!" Xiao's ears perked. "Just hurry up and tell me," you said.

He chuckles. "For our date, of course!" Childe leans closer to your face, giving you a close-eyed grin. Xiao, who had no choice but to listen, unknowingly tightened his grip on his arms. Date? So, you guys are..

Xiao clicks his tongue. "I need to go," he said briefly before disappearing into thin air with trickles of black and green smoke. You couldn't even ask where he was going. "Uh, weren't you gonna give him that?" Childe points at the tiffin in your hand. "Ah, you're right! Darn it.." You finally perfected how to make almond tofu and wanted Xiao to be the first to try your cooking so it was truly a shame that you weren't able to give it to him. "Well, since he left, can I have it?" Childe asks. "No! This is for Xiao only!" You glare at him. "And can you please stop calling our sparring sessions a date?" Childe only laughs at that.

"Well, I guess I'll leave this with Verr.." you said to yourself, eyeing at the tiffin. It was a shame that you won't get to see his reaction but you can always ask tomorrow. You wondered what it was that he needed to tend to but shortly concluded that he probably needed to take care of monsters around the area.

-

Tomorrow came but he didn't show up which was odd since even though he may look like he doesn't want you around, he never really pushed you away. In fact, there wasn't a silent agreement for when you two would meet up at the highest part of Wangshu Inn. You asked Verr if Xiao ever had the chance to eat your almond tofu but she said that he rejected it and that he would be turning in for the night.

A day turned to days until it was nearly a week. Again, you went to Wangshu Inn and again, Childe wasn't with you that day so it was a bit quiet. You didn't have anything else planned for today, wanting to spend today with Xiao since you didn't yesterday and the days before that.

It became the waiting game long ago and before you knew it, you could see the sun setting on the horizon yet again. Where was he? Yeah, he may be the conqueror of demons but you couldn't help but worry. After all, it was still possible for him to get hurt.

You waited a bit more until the sun was fully out of sight. Another day has ended and he still hasn't shown. Sighing defeatedly, you stood up from the chair that Verr had brought for you. However, before you could take a step away from the chair, Xiao appears before you at the centre of the balcony.

"Xiao!?" One look at him, you gasped at the state he was in. He still had his mask on and was covered in blood and scratch marks, using his spear as support. He was unaware of your presence, unable to focus as he was lightheaded.

You rushed to his side and that's when his head looks up from the ground to you. "(Y/N)? What are you doing here?" he managed to ask, sounding so weak and tired. "I was waiting for you.. But never mind that-- what happened to you?" You reached your hands for him and just when you made contact with his shoulders, he collapsed in your arms. "Xiao!"

Your voice was loud enough to alert Verr, Huai'an, and Yanxiao who rushed upstairs, all worried for the yaksha that protected Liyue quietly. "Xiao? What happened?" Verr asked, equally worried as you were. "Let's get him to his room first and patch him up. Save the questions after he's healed," Huai'an said. Agreeing, you brought Xiao to his room that was unoccupied for most of the time while Verr fetched the aid kit.

After giving you the kit, you were left with the task of bandaging the male, knowing that he would most likely refuse help from them. You sat on a wooden chair while he sat on his bed, things needed to patch him up were spread on the nightstand. It was quiet for the first couple of minutes since you were too busy cleaning his bloodied arm. It was only when you wrapped his upper arm nice and tight did you talk. "Uh, can you take off your shirt..?" you say softly that one would need to strain to hear, but not Xiao as he always had keen ears.

"Why are you here?" he asks coldly which caught you off guard. Sure he spoke with a seemingly cold tone but this time, it really sounded as if he didn't want you here. His eyes never once looked at yours when you were wrapping his arm.

"X, Xiao..? What's wrong?" You felt your heart squeeze itself. He remained tight-lipped. That day, when you brought Childe along, he felt a mix of emotions of jealousy, anger, and sadness. "Nothing is wrong. Just go.." he said. "Don't you have somewhere to be?"

"Somewhere to be? No, I was waiting all day for you to come back," you said. "I was beginning to worry ab--" "I don't need your concerns. I have lived longer than you and fought many monsters. I can handle everything by myself," he cut you off, sharply. "Why don't you put those silly feelings of yours on someone else?"

"What wrong with you, Xiao?" you asked, not once raising your voice. "I told you, nothing is wrong with me--" He finally looked at you, but what he saw next made him stop and all those feelings he had previously dissipated. You weren't crying but tears were certainly threatening to fall as you bit your bottom lip. "I.. (Y/N).."

You shook your head, wiping the tears with your arms before you stare at him right in the eyes. "I was worried, Xiao. I was worried if you were hurt or worse!" you raised your voice, but not in anger. "What did I do to make you mad? Please, tell me!" Your eyes reflected desperation and sadness.

He looks away. He felt bad, knowing that it was wrong of him to lash out at you for something as stupid as feelings.. Feelings that you won't reciprocate.

"It's nothing.." he said, this time, in a calmer tone. "Why won't you tell me?" you asked, reaching your hands to cup his face so that he had no choice but to look at you.

He hesitated. He wasn't sure if it was right to tell you since you were with someone else, and he didn't want to ruin what friendship you two had. But the sadness in your eyes made it hard for him to keep it a secret. "I.. Was jealous.." He confesses, looking down at his lap, face feeling hot in embarrassment.

"Jealous? Of who?" you pushed on. He gulped before saying, "Your.. Boyfriend."

You blinked, confused. Then, "Boyfriend? But I don't have one.." you voiced. Xiao looks up at you, face showing surprise. "What? But that guy with you.. He said.." It took a while but you now soon know who he was referring to.

"Ah, we aren't in a relationship, I promise! When he said date, he was asking for a sparring match really," you explained. "A, and actually, I like you, Xiao.. I have always liked you."

Hearing the confession, Xiao did not wait for a second longer and put a hand behind your head, pushing you closer to him until your lips met with his. It surprised you at first but soon melted into the kiss, eyes fluttering shut. What felt like hours was actually just a few minutes and you two pulled away.

Looking at him, loving his golden eyes that were filled with love for you, you smiled. "Well, let's finish fixing you up."

║Kaeya║Happy Birthday

This was uploaded on Wattpad for Kaeya’s birthday.

Gender-neutral.

Suggestive ending.

Word count: 1.1k

---

Today was no day to laze around in bed as it was the most important of days in a year- Kaeya's birthday.

You quietly slipped out of bed to get change, and out from his warm embrace, soon missing it when your feet touched the cold ground and parts of your skin- which was exposed- hits the cold air. It was quite early, but you had to get on the move if you want everything done by the designated time that Jean had said.

You along with the top-notches of the Knights of Favonius and Diluc- much to his visible distaste- had secretly been planning for a week specifically for this day. Jean carefully planned it out so that today was his day off today, without raising his suspicion.

From behind, you hear a low moan from the male as he was searching for your warmth, eyes closed. You chuckled at his actions and walked back to the bed, leaning down to give him a kiss on the cheeks. "Get some more rest. It's your day off after all," you said.

You weren't quick enough to move away and his arms quickly wraps around you and pull you back in bed. "Stay.." he moans, voice still groggy as he just woke up. "You know I can't do that. I still have work," you said, but he didn't listen and buries his head into your chest. You sighed and comply to his words, playing with his loose hair. It was really soft.

After a couple minutes, you started to feel his arms loosening around you so you took it as a chance to really slip out of the house and head over to Angel's Share.

When you arrived, everybody was already there and was just waiting for you. "Took you time," Diluc mutters, his expression still the same as ever before and crosses his arms. "Sorry, it was hard to make Kaeya fall back asleep," you say in honest. "Now then, shall we begin?" You smiled, the others returning it with a smile of their own-- Not counting Diluc.

The tavern was closed all throughout the day as the celebration was going to be held there. There were times where you had to go out of the tavern and met Kaeya once, now up and going, and was out to seek for your company. "I'm sorry, Kaeya, I'm running errands for Jean," you said apologetically. You then got Klee to take your place so that the Cavalry Captain wouldn't get lonely and start snooping around the tavern.

The preparations were finally finished at seven in the evening and all that was left was the star of tonight. "(Y/N), can you go get Kaeya now?" Jean asks. You nodded and left the tavern in search for him. It didn't take long as you found him where you thought he'd be- with Klee inside a room in the headquarters, playing.

His head raised up from whatever he was doing and look towards the door, a smile soon replacing his gloomy one- probably because he felt lonely without you. "(Y/N)!" He jumps up from his crossed sitting and runs up to hug you. Although it hadn't been a full day without seeing you, he seeks your affection every chance he could get. You hug back but soon let's go and turn to Klee. "Thank you so much, Klee." You gave a wink and she giggles, earning a quizzical Kaeya. You said your good nights to the young child and walked to the tavern with Kaeya.

"What have you been up to since this morning?" Kaeya asks, holding onto your hand. "Didn't I tell you this morning?" you say, smiling as your look to your side. "Surely, you didn't run around on errands for Jean, did you?" Kaeya was not dumb so keeping secrets was really hard. You chuckle as a response, not giving him a direct answer.

Then, just as you were in sight of the tavern, Kaeya looks at you with confusion reflecting his eyes. Before he could ask, you tug him along until you were at the foot of the door. He stares at you with a raised brow. "Go inside," you urge, failing to hide the excitement in your tone, eyes, and smile.

Kaeya did as told and opens the door. "Surprise!" The people inside greets with full enthusiasm. You entered soon after and stood beside him. "What, what is all this?" he asks and turns to you for the answer. "It's exactly what it looks like." You smiled. "Happy Birthday, Kaeya."

Kaeya was at a lost of words but you helped him with that by urging him on. The celebration lasted quite late into the night with full of chatter, laughter, eating, and drinking. Even Diluc was enjoying the party and you could see that Diluc's eyes were smiling at the sight of his brother enjoying the night.

After helping with the cleanup from the party, you and Kaeya went home. You were too exhausted but still had to change your clothes so you began to take of your shirt. A cold hand held your wrist before you could even have pulled on the shirt, stopping you from changing. "Kaeya?" you call his name in almost a whisper. His arms wraps around your waist and pulls you close to him, your back touching his chest. Heat soon rises from your face when you felt his breath near your ears. "K- Kaeya?" you call again, now stuttering.

"Thank you for today," he finally says. Smelling the alcohol from him, you could tell he drank too much that he was slightly drunk. "Um, it's no--" Your words were cut short when you felt his hands go underneath your shirt, causing shivers running down your spine and stiffening up.

"Relax. It's not like it's our first time doing it together," he whispers into your ears, which definitely did not help with your already warm face. "K- Kaeya, You're drunk. I, I think you should wash up and go to bed.."

"I can handle a little bit of alcohol." He chuckles and nibbles at one of your ears. Your breath hitches. "U-um, Kaeya, we shouldn't be doing this now," you managed to say through airy breaths, but Kaeya was Kaeya and he wasn't going to let a chance like this go to waste. "You know, I haven't received a gift from you yet.." he states. You could feel him smirk and at that moment, you knew you couldn't get out of what's to come.

"Why don't I receive it from you now?"

"It's Zhongli's birthday?" Paimon floats around beside you. You hummed. "Everyone in Liyue is offering something for their lord since it is his birthday," you state. "I want to give him something too."

"Huh. Anyway, do you have any ideas what to give him? Seeing as he is an Archon, Paimon is sure he has seen all sorts of luxurious offerings," Paimon says.

You have indeed thought about that, and not wanting to be like everyone else, you had decided on a different present, something that might seem nothing or too little, but shows your admiration for the male.

"I'll give him.. Glaze Lilies," you answered, smiling at the thought. However, Paimon looks at you weirdly. "Uh, flowers are a bit too plain, don't you think?"

It indeed was, but you thought that it was the perfect gift to represent everything you want to say to him while showing your great love toward the male.

"Let's look for something cooler, like um.. Paimon doesn't know-- just something that aren't flowers?" Paimon shrugs. You shook your head, deciding that it was Glaze Lilies that you want. Paimon sighs, "Paimon guesses it's flowers then."

You two set out, looking for wild Glaze Lilies that are now much sparse compared to that of thousands of years ago, when you had nothing to do with the planet you are trapped in.

Along with Glaze Lilies, you picked out other flowers specifically found in the surroundings of Liyue to make it much nicer.

"There, now to find Zhongli!" You smiled, feeling warm at the look of the flowers and the image of his smiling face in your mind.

You made your way back inside the city and look for the male, whom you found idling by at one of the stalls, inspecting every item it had to offer, fingers on his chin as he bends his torso forward.

"Zhongli!" you called from behind, drawing his attention away from the things and to you. "Ah, (Y/N), what brings you to me on such a day?" he greets, his eyes reflecting the same warm smile tugging his lips.

"I wanted to greet you a happy birthday." You look at the flowers and then outstretched your arms. "I know you have seen much more expensive presents, but I really hope you like these flowers that I've picked out for you," you say.

Zhongli was speechless as he looks at the bouquet of flowers in your hands.

It was awfully still for quite too long for your liking that you started to think negatively, Paimon floating beside you awkwardly.

"Ah, if you don't like them, I'll just--" Before you could finish, Zhongli places his hands on yours, cupping them along with the flowers between his. "No, I very much love them. A simple gift such as this means more to me than expensive materialistic items bought with mora as this holds much of your thoughts," he goes in to say. "A gift from you is all I ever want."

The words were true, that you know which made you smile and Paimon relax, happy that he liked the simple gift.

"Oh, might I ask something? Did you pick these flowers yourself?" he asks, taking the bouquet from your hands and inspects them for a bit before looking at your eyes again. You nod and see him warmly smile. "They are most lovely." He stares at the flowers with a much more visible look of love in his eyes.

He tears his eyes away, his amber eyes now fully locked onto yours. "Come, walk with me. Let us go looking for wild Glaze Lilies once more," he said, walking past you before stopping short to look at you over his shoulders, his eyes seeming to glow a much fiery amber.

"There is a certain song from Liyue that I would like to hear you sing-- if you'll allow me to teach you."

║Zhongli║Happy Birthday

This is requested by me as a gift for you and Zhongli’s birthday.

A/N: This was posted on Wattpad for Zhongli’s birthday but came here late so it’s late.

Fluff. A bit suggestive.

It was the coldest time of the year as December rolls on by, bringing the gift of white, little snowflakes along with it. This, no matter how beautiful, was cold to the touch and the people of Liyue bundled up for the season, dressing in extra layers. It may not be as cold like in Snezhnaya, but it certainly was cold for the locals.

And during this time, the streets would be less crowded, seeing as they want to be inside a building that gives them warmth and shelter from the snow. The holiday was long gone, leaving as soon as it came. However, there was something else to be more excited about that isn't the New Year-- that's in February. What you're going on about is Zhongli's birthday.

He may be an Archon, but he certainly must have been born into the world-- even if it's just created into the world by little specs of matter.

The sun was just peeking out in the horizon, its light shining through the little gaps of your curtains.

Sounds of fabric against fabric rustles and a deep groan made its way to your ears before feeling an arm wrap around your waist, strong and firm, not wanting to let go of you any time soon. You would shot up wide awake, very alarmed, if you didn't know who it was-- if, might I highlight.

You groan into their chest, just feeling the weight of sleep lift from your eyelids. Slowly just waking up, you were suddenly aware of the cold air that surrounded you and so, you reflexively drew closer to the person that emitted warmth, touching their bare skin that was left exposed from events the night prior.

"Good morning," the person croaks, making you melt at the sound of their voice. You hummed in response, then feeling their lips on your forehead, giving you a good morning kiss. "It's time to get up, my dear."

"Just a couple more minutes," you say, burying your face further into their chest. A low, yet deep chuckle reverberates from them and pulls away from you. "I'm afraid I can't stay much longer, my love. I have to go to work."

You opened your eyes, showing how upset you were. "Can't you call a day off, just for today?" you plead. "And beside that, I think you owe me a massage from yesterday.."

There was no reason to be alarmed, just as said before because the person in bed with you was no other than your lover, Zhongli.

Amber eyes glowed, reflecting in amusement of your attempt, but he was not easily swayed. However, he did lean in for a kiss that you took as another opportunity to make him stay, wrapping your arms around his neck to draw him closer.

You shifted on top of him, trapping him underneath you as you continue to kiss him, slipping your tongue inside his mouth, tongues now intertwining with each other.

His hands started to wander until it got down to your thighs and rubbing it. The heat from last night certainly have not died down just yet, but Zhongli knew better than to let you continue this, pushing you away and leaving a thin line of saliva that connected your lips to his.

You eyes was filled with visible lust from last night just starting a new flame of desire. Zhongli couldn't help but admit that he, too, was feeling his own flame being ignited once again. He would love to pin you down and do you over again, but he must restrain himself. Chuckling, he spoke, "I think you are more than able to walk, my dearest." He kissed your forehead before leaving your warmth.

"So, it's decided then, huh?" You pouted. He smiles down at your bare state, loving every inch of you. "I'm afraid so. And don't you have an errand to run with that boy today?" he says, referring to the ginger who goes by the alias of "Childe".

"Oh, right.. I forgot about him," you mumbled. "Did I possibly cause that?" he jokingly says, making his way to the bathroom. "Yeah, you did, so you owe it to me," you said, though knowing it was hopeless.

He turns the doorknob to the bathroom, but stops and looks over his shoulders at you. "Care to join me, my dear?" he asks and it took you no more than a second to answer happily, joining him in the bath.

After breakfast, you two went your separate ways, but not before kissing each other a good bye for now.

Although it may sound awfully suspicious about how you were going on an errand with Childe, Zhongli has an infinite amount of trust in you and the both of your relationship-- the two of you are married, after all.

"(Y/N), good morning," Childe greets, seeing you approach him. "Good morning. Did I make you wait long?" you ask. He shook his head almost immediately. "I just came. Anyway, what did you call me out here for?" he ask.

"First, did you reserve a table at Luili Pavillion?" you ask. He nods. He was quite curious when you approached him out of the blue to ask for a reservation, but he complied and waited for the day you'll explain. "Good. Thank you so much, Childe. You know, it's Zhongli's birthday today."

"Oh, is that so? I didn't think the Geo Archon would be interested in remembering his own birthday," Childe states quite jokingly. He wad still irritated about the fact that Zhongli toyed with him on his mission to retrieve the Gnosis and it certainly showed in his tone. "He forgets his birthday, so that is why we have to make him remember!" you exclaim.

"The reservation is during dinner time, so we'll have enough time to look for gifts! Come, Childe, we must not delay."

During the long gap until dinner, you had certainly chosen a lot of presents for his special day. Yes, you have given him quite the handful of gifts for Christmas, but that was for then-- the presents of now were for his birthday.

If you think about it, you and Zhongli were similar to your spending habits, but unlike him, you knew how to play to make the price go your way, and you never forget your wallet.

"I'm sure Mr. Zhongli will be fine with one gift as long as it came from you," Childe states, looking at the stack of boxes that were wrapped perfectly in his hands. You called Childe today to join him for Zhongli's birthday, but also because you knew you won't be able to carry the presents with just you alone. "Mm, I guess you're right, but you haven't chosen a gift yet, have you? We'll go choose yours and then we'll wait it out until dinner."

"Ah, but before we do that, could we possibly get lunch?" Childe ask. It was quarter to one and Childe felt like he was about to collapse any time soon if he doesn't get something to eat. "Oh, right, let's go to Wanmin Restaurant. My treat," you say.

"Could I possibly ask for a spoon and fork?" Childe asks Xiangling when the two of you got there. "Eh? Oh, of course!" Xiangling says and made a dash to get a spoon and fork for the male.

You laughed. "If I was Zhongli, I wouldn't dare let you get a spoon or a fork," you state, knowing how cruel Zhongli can be when it comes to teasing. "Yeah, and that's why I'm glad you're here instead of him," Childe admits, scratching his head and awkwardly laughing.

After getting Childe stuffed up, it was his turn to pick a present. To your questioning gaze, he only picks one present. "You're quite excited about his birthday, huh?" Childe says, tone neutral. It was understandable for Childe as he loves to spoil his family as well, being that they are his loved ones.

You nod. "Zhongli didn't get much free time like as now, being occupied of the status as Archon," you confess. "Now, I have much more time to spend every waking day with him.. I want to spoil him just this once."

Childe smiles at your earnest words and turned to face ahead, eyes widening when his eyes laid upon a familiar male.

He was about to tell you, but Zhongli was quick to turn his head and look your way, soon walking up to the two of you.

"M- Mr. Zhongli, hi!" Childe greets, soon getting you to panic. "Greetings, Childe." Zhongli nods to the young Harbinger and turns to you. "Hello, my dear, how are you faring this afternoon? I assume you have had your lunch?" Zhongli greets.

"Oh, ah, Z- Zhongli, fancy running into you here!" you stammered, eyeing the boxes. "Hm? Are you alright, dearest? You are aware that the funeral parlour is right over there, right?" Zhongli points to his workplace that was indeed a few metres away from the three of you.

You and Childe stare at each other from the corner of each of your eyes, eyes questiong the other what to do with the things in your hands, sweat dropping excessively.

Zhongli notices the awkward glares to the other, quite clueless. "I see that you are carrying wrapped presents.. I don't assume that there is a second holiday, one is there?" He examines the presents, finger on his chin as he does so.

"Oh, no, there isn't! These are for um.." you trailed, looking at Childe to urge him to help you. "These are for my siblings!" Childe steps in, saving the day. "Yes, for my siblings.. You know how much I love my sibilings." He chuckles forcefully.

"Ah, I see.." You two let out a silent sigh of relief. You weren't sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing how clueless he could be, but as for now, you think it was a good thing. "So, uh, I'll see you at home, Zhongli." You waved to the male and walk away, Childe trailing just as hastily as you were.

"Right, so, I'll just keep the presents safe and bring them to the restaurant, correct?" Childe asks and you nod. "Thank you for helping out, Childe."

"Haha, it's no problem. I'm quite excited for tonight. Well, I'll see you then," Childe says, and waves you off.

You went home and spent the rest of the time entertaining yourself until Zhongli was finished with work. "Welcome home," you greet, closing the book that occupied your time, and standing up from your seat, making your way to him.

You brought him into a kiss, wrapping your arms around his neck, which he took to a deeper measure by wrapping his around your waist. The kiss was long and loving, but he soon pulls away, smiling.

"Might I ask how you have been, my dear?" Zhongli asks, pulling you close as you both stood at the front door. "Mm, it was okay. Oh, in fact, we should leave right now!" you say, almost revealing your great enthusiasm.

"Oh? Where to?" he asks as you take him by the hand and drag him outside. "You'll just have to find out!" is all you said, making your way to Luili Pavillion.

Upon arriving there, your eyes make contact with Childe who waved you over smilingly. "Hey, it's about time you guys came!" Childe greets, eyes following as the two of you sat down, Zhobgli looking quite clueless.

"I've already ordered the dishes you said, (Y/N), and placed a custom made order to the place you said to go," Childe says, leaving Zhongli in the dark. You nod, thanking him.

"Might I ask for an explanation?" Zhongli asks, turning his gaze onto you. "I knew you'd forget.. But before I tell you, want to take a guess?" You grin at the male.

"Hm, there isn't a second Christmas nor is it the Lantern Rite Festival.." Zhongli hums, bringing his fingers to his chin as he deeply thought it through.

He gave no answer and asks you to tell him. "Nuh-uh, I guess you'll have to wait and find out later," you said, making Zhongli much left out in the secret.

Soon, the dishes came, filling the once empty table with delicious food. The aroma was so strong that anyone passing the restaurant would soon hear their stomach growling. "Ah, but before we eat, there's another one that's still yet to come!" you state, and as if on cue, the last waitress came, holding the most delicious and well decorated cake, placing it in front of Zhongli.

"Hm? Care to tell me now, my dear?" he asks, not connecting the dots. He could be so dumb, but that was sort of his charm. You sighed, though not out of annoyance, and finally helped him out. "Happy birthday, Zhongli!" you cheer.

"Ah, so today is the day of my birth. I quite forgot," Zhongli says, eyes fixed on the candles on the cake that almost emitted the same colour as his eyes. "I can't believe you actually forgot, Mr. Zhongli," Childe laughs at the Archon.

"Mm, come on, make a wish and blow it out!" you excitedly say. "What do I wish for?" he asks, eyes tearing away from the candle and to you.

"Whatever your heart desires," you say. Zhongli stares back at the cake, silent for a while before closing his eyes to mutter a wish in his head. After that, he opens his eyes and looks over to you once more. "Now, you blow out the candles!" you instructed and watch as he does so.

You and Childe claps, smiles adorning both of your faces at the oldest Archon. Before, you'd celebrate his birthday just enjoying a cup of tea and hear him speak, but now that he was living the life of a mortal, you decided to celebrate his special day like that of a mortal.

"Oh, right, the presents!" Childe says, standing up to talk to a nearby waitress who went to the back and soon return with an extra person, both carrying the wrapped presents, bringing it over to the table.

"And you know about the gifts from earlier? Well, they were for you," Childe says. "Most of them are from (Y/N)."

Surprise was seen reflecting in Zhongli's eyes and turns his head away from the presents to you who was smiling. "I thank you, my dear, but you didn't need to spend so much for me," he says kissing your forehead and letting his lips linger on it.

"But I wanted to," you say, melting from his kiss. Childe coughs awkwardly, a bit embarrassed to see two people getting so affectionate in front of him, seeing as he was a bachelor.

You both chuckled at the young male. "Well, let's enjoy the dishes that I know you like!" you exclaim.

After the pleasant evening, you and Zhongli returned home, now cuddling in bed, his head resting on your chest as you played with his hair. "This has been most joyous, and I thank you once again, dearest," Zhongli says.

You hummed. "I'm happy you think so," you said, closing your eyes as a smile spread across your face. "Let me say this again.."

"Happy birthday, Zhongli."

Zhongli is indeed wealthy in terms of knowledge, having noticeably a much greater understanding than any scholar of any field. But when it came to mora? Count him out. He was not the best at managing his mora and still isn't now, so that is why you were there to step in every time he is in dire need of money.

"Mr. Zhongli, you can't go around Liyue saying that you will buy everything that the store has when you know that you don't carry a wallet," you say depressingly, handing a pouch full of mora to the person behind the counter. This fact, however, did not phase the man himself, staring blankly at you, a hand on his mouth as he observes.

You took the bag of the things that Zhongli wanted to buy and walked out of the store, dragging him along. "Here." You turned around to face the male and outstretched your arm with the bag. "Do you.. Have anywhere else that you want to check out?" you ask, not wanting to leave him without mora to pay for anything. You were lucky-- wait, no, he should feel lucky that you were around and to peek curiously inside the store he was at so that you could pay for his things. "Hm, I do have one more place to go," he says.

You nodded. "Alright, we'll go to that place, but promise me that you won't go shopping for today," you say, to which he agrees. You were busy today so you couldn't go shopping with him, but you can't just leave him alone. Sometimes, you wonder how such a composed man that basically has all the knowledge of Teyvat, not even have a single mora on him.

After ensuring that Zhongli was safe to be alone, you bid farewell and did your own things to be completed.

-

"Make sure you come to work on time!" Hu Tao warns with a smile, bidding you bye. She may be an irritating person to deal with that loves to pull pranks, but as the master of the Wangshen Funeral Parlour, she could take some matters such as time seriously. You nod your head and returned a wave to your boss before going off to shop for dinner.

The night life of the city was much more crowded than that of day-- probably because the darken sky can hide many secret encounters-- be it for civil citizens or crooks lurking in alleyways to trade wanted items for their benefit. You couldn't care less of what they do-- you just wanted to buy food and go home.

A familiar whiff of food made its way to your nostrils and made your stomach growl, deciding that it wanted to eat that specific food. You jerk your head to find the place that sells it, which you found in mere seconds upon your hunger and trotted over immediately. "Woah! They are selling these again!" you exclaim happily, eyes reflecting stars as you slightly drool.

Wiping the drool off with the back of your hand, you reached for your pouch money, but when you opened it, it was completely empty! "Eh!? I swore I had mora in here. I'm sure I didn't even spend--" Your words were cut short, remembering that you had used up your paycheck yesterday to help Zhongli. You sulked, knowing that you'll have to go hungry till your next paycheck.

"Maybe I can ask Hu Tao for extra money?" you ask yourself, feeling sad tears welling up in your eyes. About to come to the conclusion and go home, a voice spoke up from behind. "(Y/N), what are you doing here so late at night?"

Turning to look over your shoulders and craning your head up a bit, you were met with amber eyes that seemed to glow brighter than the lights in the city.

"Mr. Zhongli, what are you doing here?" you ask, full of surprise that a man such as himself would be caught loitering around food vendors such as the one you were at. "I.. Went for a nightly stroll, is all," he answers. "May I ask about you as well?"

"Uh, well.. I was going to buy dinner, but I used up all my mora, so I'm going to go home.." you answered honestly, though a bit embarrassed saying it out loud, especially to the man you like. "Oh, is that so? Well, if that is the case, I will pay for you," he says and looks towards the person who ran the food stall. "Excuse me, I'd like to buy a dozen of these." He points at the food you were just drooling about not too long ago. The person nods smilingly and took out a bag to place the right amount of demand inside.

"M- Mr. Zhongli, aren't you forgetting your wallet?" you ask, swear dropping frivolously. You coming there and not having mora was embarrassing enough and will be more embarrassing with Zhongli, knowing that he most likely forgot his wallet at home. He eyes you, a small smile tugging his charming face as he places a hand on your head before taking out what seems to be his wallet. "Here you are, boss," he says, handing a pouch full of money, not even asking for the price or counting the money. "U, uh, sir, this is quite a lot." And indeed it was. "It is fine. You may keep the extra," he states. The vendor thanked Zhongli and even put in a couple extra of the food ordered with no added charge.

Once far from the stall, Zhongli hands you the bag. "U, uhm, I'm surprised that you brought your wallet.. But I'll pay you back, I promise!" you say determinedly. Zhongli smiles and shook his head. "There is no need to. As I had said, I need not such materialistic thing," Zhongli states. He loves to repeat those words and it was kind of funny that even when saying it so many times, you didn't think of it.

"Then is there anything I can do to make it even?" you ask. "You have already paid for my things more times than I could ever hope to repay you," he says softly. But even when he says that, it didn't sit right with you. You have been helping him because you liked him and wanting nothing more than to care for him, but he is probably doing it to repay your kindness.

Noticing your expression and guessing your thoughts, Zhongli added, "You can, however, pay it by joining me for dinner." Upon hearing it, your eyes lit up as you stare at the man with a surprised face. "I confess, I have found a liking to you, (Y/N). I a unsure of any other method to court you other than to take you out," Zhongli says, full of confidence that it even reflects his eyes.

"I.. I would love that!" You smiled. Who knew that a man like him would be found courting for an average local such as yourself. "I am pleased to hear that." Zhongli returns your smile with a smile of his own and walked you to a restaurant that he had been planning take you to for a long while.

║Zhongli║Where Glaze Lilies Bloom

Requested from Wattpad.

Female reader as requested.

Word count: 1.7k

---

Twice.

Twice had the amber-eyed male encountered two persons whom he learned to cherish, but then fall witness to a crushing sight of their cold and limp body, eyes dimmed of life. Both meeting and parting happening in the field where glaze lilies bloom.

He has seen countless of lives lost, but none were as disheartening as when the two people he cared for disappear like dust being swept away by the wind. One was his best friend and the other one- whom held a closer tie to his heart- was his lover.

That was many thousands of years ago, yet he couldn't help reminisce the times of old and the happy memories that blossomed like flowers with it. His heart felt heavier each day when he thought of what he could have done during the war to have saved the two he cared for so deeply so that they were there with him today and proudly talk about their accomplishments that they had earned together, but that unfortunately can't happen as he was the only one left of the inseparable trio.

He looks at the sunset in the horizon and sighs, closing his eyes and replayed the deaths of his friend and lover. It was around this time of day where the sun looked like a gem and glimmered like one that his lover had died. His best friend died days before amongst the field of blue and he and his lover both there to comfort her so that she could return to the soils like the God of Dust she was.

Then came his only ray of light in the calamity that surrounded them. He remembers all too clearly of that day and how he had held onto her body, pleading with tears dripping down from his face and hitting her cold ones to not leave him just like his best friend not too many days prior to her death. "You'll be alright, I promise. So, please, don't close your eyes!" He begged.

He watched as she weakily forces a smile and caress the male's face lovingly, flinching when he felt her cold fingertips. "Glaze lilies.. Guizhong.. Liked these flowers.." she had weaikly said, tears of her own starting to well in her eyes. "I.. I like them too.." She utters a few more words, trying to lighten up the mood as her eyes become more and more lifeless by the second. "Rex.. Promise me that you will do.. What Guizhong had said. Please, protect her people.." Her hand that caressed his cheek fall to her side as she took one last breath before joining her older sister in the afterlife. Even in her last moments of life, she had talked about her loving sister and his best friend, and now, she left, taking his heart along with her. He had cried and held her body close to his, not wanting her to become nothing but a memory, but to his sadness, her body had turned to dust like her sister's and slipped between his grasp, allowing the wind to take them.

Both meeting and parting happening in the field where glaze lilies bloom.

"Hey, earth to Mr. Zhongli." An all too familiar voice snaps him from his reminiscing and opens his eyes to be faced by none other than the eleventh Fatui Harbinger, Childe. "Childe, to what may I offer you this fine evening?" the funeral consultant asks, not a look of sadness seen on the man's face.

"Ah, nothing really.. I was walking past the docks when I saw you kind of just spacing out on the bench," the younger male states. "Is that what it looked like? Well, indeed you are correct," Zhongli says, not denying what the Harbinger had said.

"You okay, Mr. Zhongli?" Childe asks, taking note of how distant his Liyue friend had become lately ever since the Rite of Parting. "Of course, I am. What makes you ask that, Childe?" The male was caught off guard of the strange, yet reasonable question.

"It's nothing.. Anyway, I guess I will be heading off to Snezhnaya tomorrow. A shame that I won't be tagging along with the traveller for most of their adventures, but I'll meet them soon enough," he said and sighs. "Well, I best be off now." He bids goodbye to the quiet male and disappears amongst the flooding crowds.

Zhongli, the man who can ramble on with so much knowledge, was then left again to his own thoughts. He looks towards the sun that was setting down slowly, colour the same as his eyes, but there was a huge different. While the sun sets down with pride, his was filled with sadness and loneliness.

Tomorrow..

"Is the day of her death."

For the past two thousand years, not once had he missed a year to see the field that was slowly becoming barren of the blue flowers where his lover took her last breath and he wasn't going to miss it for the world tomorrow.

When the sun was still starting to peek through the darken sky, Zhongli was missing from his house, already out the gates and protection of the city and the Milleliths. Today, he didn't go in the form of Rex Lapis, but as a mortal called Zhongli and he wishes to have a one-sided conversation with the flowers and wind around to tell them about the recent events that took place not too long ago.

He soon see the field and the little flowers that he knew was soon to wilt away and blown away by a gentle wind. However, it wasn't so lonely and looked as if there was more of them than the last time he came by to reminisce and they also opened up their petals, meaning to say that someone had caused them to open up. He wondered as to who the person was, but that was soon answered when he heard soft singing in the distance.

Looking over to a tree amongst the field, he sees the back of a woman, leaning against it. More of the glaze lilies around started to bloom, showing their true beauty. But, this was not the reason as to why the tall male froze on the spot, heart starting to quicken; the song that the woman was singing was a song that no one in Teyvat knew. He remembers the song as he was always singing it for the flowers on this day. The song had been taken from someone else and that person was the only other person who knew of the words; the one who made it and sung it. It was her song.

He gulped back a lump in his throat and slowly approach the female in question, but accidentally stepped on a flower, making a crunching noise which alerted the female. She hastily stood up and turn around, eyes sharp and on guard.

Her hair length and its colour, her eyes and their colour, the size and shape of her nose, lips-- you name it. They were all the same as hers. His heart felt as if it stopped, yet was racing at the same time. The world also felt that it held its breath, making everything frozen, but leaving the two and the field still running with the flow of time. A gentle breeze swept across the field, rifling their clothing and hair, but the two stood their, not being bothered by it.

All the similarities was there and he had no doubt about it. His lover had came back.

You came back.

"Um, who are you?" your soft and gentle voice made its way to his ears and he realized that he was staring too long and making you feel uncomfortable. "Ah, my apologies. I didn't mean to alarm you," he starts, feeling a sort of ache in his heart when you couldn't recognize who he was. "I.. I was very moved by your song. Did you hear that from somewhere or someone perhaps?" He had to know if it was truly you or a look alike of you, but he was positive of it being the prior.

"Ah, you were moved by the song? That's actually the first time someone had said that- well, it's probably because they never heard it.." you mumbled the second part. "I actually made it up. Well, I'm not sure, maybe..? I've always been humming the tune since young and made the words soon after. It could be someone else's song that I've heard so I'm not quite too sure..?" You rambled on, contradicting your words and jumbling everything up. This made the male's heart light and felt his missing pieces starting to return.

He laughs, remembering that this was the way you used to act thousands of years ago with a heart as gentle, fragile, and beautiful as a gem. You were taken aback and felt embarrassed as you were not well with words. "Ah.. I made myself sound like fool, didn't I?" You scratched your cheek, averting your gaze to the ground and feeling something warm rise up to your face.

Zhongli's laughter quited down and looks at you with loving eyes and a warm smile. Oh how he missed you so. "What is your name, my dear?" he asks, pretending to not know your name. You look up at the handsome man, feeling your cheeks becoming more tingly at every detail on his face that you trace with your eyes. "I, I'm (Y/N), sir," you answered. Although you had never seen the man before, you felt as if you've known him far longer and had a feeling that you know what he likes, dislikes, and whatnot.

"(Y/N).. What a beautiful name," he says softly. Your heart races at the words, but you did not know why. Who was this man, you had asked yourself. "I'm Zhongli."

In this life, he thought, he will do his utmost best to give you a life full of happiness with him, but that would take a while since you were now a mortal with no recollection of the man you loved before then. However, he was fine with making you fall for him again, as long as you love him like before.

In the field of blue is where he met the reincarnation of his lover. And in that field, is where he knows you'll depart once more. But this time, he knows he will meet you again and will wait thousands of years just to see you again and make you love him just as before.

Both meeting and parting happening in the field where glaze lilies bloom.

What was it about you that he saw? Was it the way your eyes would sparkle every now and then? Was it your smile? Your hair?

At this point, you were doubting he even saw something in you that even you yourself didn't. I mean, all he has been doing was reading his book and now paying attention to you in the slightest.

When the relationship was just like a blossoming flower; it was full of colour with him but now, it feels, to you, that it has wilted away as soon as it sprouted. You didn't feel the love from him.

This made you worry. Was there something about you that he dislikes? Whatever it was, you could fix it. You just want him to speak to you-- tell you. You'll happily change that one flaw or two that made him look so uninterested in you.

"Why don't you ask him?"

Your skin crawled in fright and became aware of another person beside you. Turning to look over your shoulders, you see Chongyun leaning forward on the backrest of the bench, holding his popsicle. "How long have you been there?" you ask. He shrugs and licks his treat. "Long enough. Anyway, I guess I'm correct on the part where you're thinking about Xingqiu." Ah, you didn't deny it, didn't you?

"A, ah, yeah.." Your eyes trailed to somewhere else, not bothering to hide anything from your friend. Chongyun has been very supportive of your relationship and looked very pleased when Xingqiu finally stopped praising you when the two hung out alone. You don't know the cheesy things that bookworm said about you.

"So, what's holding you back from asking him?" he asks, licking the last bits of his popsicle. You were silent, not knowing how to answer. What is holding you back? You two are lovers, yes? Taking your silence as a response that you didn't know, Chongyun sighs. "I really think you should go talk to him. He has been reading his books so a nice change would be nice." He smiles which in turn, made you smile.

-

"(Y/N)? Hey, are you here to see Xingqiu?" Xingqiu's brother greets, a smile adorning his face. He was walking past the door when he stopped to a familiar face-- you.

You smiled. "Yes, is he here?" you ask. His brother hooked his fingers under his chin while eyes stared off to the sky. "Hm, I believe he's in the back reading a book." Of course he is. It was always books with him. You nod, following a quick "Thank you" before heading further into the house until stopping short outside to see him reading away.

"Xingqiu, good morning," you greet, walking closer to the male. He looks up and with a quick greeting, he turns to his book, nose deep. For some odd reason, it feels as if he has fallen out of love with you. It was suffocating to know this but that is what the situation implies.

You sat down on the same bench, beside him and stared off to the clear blue sky. The fact that there were no clouds made your stomach churn. It could have just been you, but you do not like how the sky shone brightly on that particular day.

"Hey, Xingqiu, could you put that book down for a moment?" You turn your head to ask. He hums to your question, but dare not peal his eyes off of it. It was upsetting enough and you waited no longer and took it away from him which got his attention. "Give that back!" he snaps.

It made you flinch. He has never used such tone with you and to hear it now-- "If there is something wrong or something that I need fixing, please tell me.." Your eyes reflected your tone of desperation which, in turn, he shies his head down. Your heart drop. So, there truly is something going on and it dealt with you. "Xingqiu, please talk to me.. I can fix it, I promise!"

"(Y/N)." It was just the call of your name but you stopped. The world felt awfully still in that moment, and that scared you. What is he going to say? Just as the thought passes, he spoke. "I think we should break up." Oh that word you longed feared hit you. You panicked and became a fumbling mess. "Why? Is it because I'm too annoying? Do I bother you too much? Was it something something I said? Please, tell me, Xing--"

"Can you just be quiet?" He looks at you from the side of his eyes that darkened. You flinched. Never in your life had you seen him with that look. The Xingqiu you knew was always cunning in his own smiley way that never had the need to glare at anybody.

It was silent when you looked down on the hands that folded nicely on your lap, its grip tightening as you hold back your tears, but you shouldn't break down there. Not yet, at least.

He looks at you, eyes lingering on your profile before turning away with a heavy sigh. "Yes, you're annoying so be quiet." To make things sting as much as it already did, he had to speak. "Didn't you see that I was avoiding you?"

You bit the insides of your cheek. Of course. How could you not know? You have been starved of his attention for an awfully long time to know he has grown irritated of your presence.

You stare at him as he stood up, lips quivering and tears threatening to fall. "I'm tired of this, (Y/N)." That was it. You didn't want to hear another word from his mouth and stood up, eyes glued to the ground. "F, fine.. I'll go." Not wanting to breathe the same air as him, you ran outside of their house, Xingqiu's brother momentarily blinking confusedly when you past him.

"Hey, what's up with you and (Y/N)?" he asks, stepping outside the courtyard. Xingqiu's eyes stared at the many pebbles that decorated the ground. "It's nothing." With that, he turns and leaves, heading straight for his room.

Miles away from his house, you stood staring out towards the sea as you finally allowed your tears to flow. Hiccuping between quiet sobs, you cursed today's sun for seemingly mocking at you with its ever so brightly glimmer.

You shouldn't have come to his house today. You shouldn't have taken that book away from him. You shouldn't--

"(Y/N)?" Snapping your head to your right, Chongyun stares at you with a pitiful look. He had seen this coming from a mile away but he let it happened, not knowing what to do. So, to repay for that, he came and hugged you tightly and allowed yourself to stain his shirt with your tears as he stare off to the distance, thinking about Xingqiu. Was he happy with this decision, Chongyun had asked himself.

In truth, Xingqiu didn't want to break up with you, but he had no choice. He did this all for you and wished you knew why. But no, he thought it through that it would be best to not let you clung onto memories and fantasies that you thought would become reality and leave them bitter on your tongue for when he leaves.

"I'm sorry.."

Liyue- a nation of commerce. There, everyone is always up to something- be it for the good of the land or for their own selfish needs. And that soon attracted other people from other parts of Teyvat, wanting to get something- anything- from their journey to there. Everyone there are always smiles and flattery, but that is only when the dark sky- that is only lit up by the stars and moon- is blanketing their dirty business. No one really cares about what another does in the harbour as long as it doesn't affect them in the long run. Heck, they couldn't care less about who they were talking to unless they were someone of use to earn more fortune for themselves. They won't even bat an eye if someone- who they have never heard of- suddenly comes and beg for help.

-

"Hey, (Y/N), I bought a new book that I think you might like. It's from your favourite author too!" The second son of a wealthy family, Xingqiu, came to greet you at your usual spot-- right at the top of a mountain that faced the sea, the water gold due to the sun setting for the day and to let the night deal with the unwanted business dealings.

He sat on the grass and leaned on a stone, a small smile on his face as he looks up at the sky. It was a beautiful set of orange and yellow-- much like his eyes. With a minute passing by, he takes a breather before looking down at the book in his lap, beginning to open the new book. "I have been waiting for the next volume to be published, always going to the bookstore and stay for hours." He chuckles. "You don't know how many times the lady at the bookstore questioned me if I wanted to check the other books instead."

"It was a tempting thought but if I were to be distracted, who knows? I might miss my chance to buy a copy of it if ever came-- which it did," he says, looking at the first word of the first page. "I suppose you want me to read now. Haha, I remember how you always pester me to hurry up so I could start reading the book."

"Oh look, I'm prolonging the read even more, haha. Then, I shall read the book now," he said. This time, he stops speaking and reads the book all the while smiling, never once had it faltered away in hopes to not make you break.

Once he finished reading, he just stared at the back of the book, his smile not reaching his beautiful, golden eyes as he was drifting off in his own thoughts. In front of everyone, he was all smiles and the perfect son who was well versed in many things from poetry to martial arts. Only his dear friend, Chongyun, know how wicked he could be. But even if he was his friend, he had never seen him break down-- not even during your funeral.

It was a silent plea for help that he wished he picked up sooner. And since then, he hated himself for how useless of a lover he was to you. He always promised that he would protect you and in no way would he let harm come your way but in times of desperation, he wasn't there. So much for that promise, he thought bitterly.

He looks at the stone he was leaning against and read your name that was engraved on it. It was your stone where your spirit lies for eternity. He saw it best to have you buried here as it was one of your most favourite spots to run away from the excitement of the city and to have a little moment of peace, reading a book. He would often accompany you as well and would often lay his head on your lap as you read out loud or to yourself when he wanted to read another book.

He wished he had done something more to keep your warmth forever, but he wasn't a fortune-teller to know when you would die. He wished he was though. Now, he was left in the cold with nothing but your memory to give him more heartache.

A tear finally slips through his smiling face, breaking that smile that everyone knew. One tear. Two tears. Three. More and more kept coming that he couldn't wipe all of them away and he bit down on his bottom lip to try to stop the sobbing sounds that left him. "Why? Why didn't you tell me? I, I could have done something!" he cried, not showing his eyes as he continued to stop the tears with his arms. His smiling facade broke away and you were the first to witness it from your stone. He hiccups, choking on his own tears. Even when minutes passed, his tears did not stop and he soon buried his head in his arms, using his knees as support.

"Please come back.."

Something was falling from the greyish clouds that has been slowly forming together over Liyue. It was white, cold, and too small for human eye to see. However, once multiples of it were gathered, you could truly see how it turned Liyue into a winter wonderland.

This sparks excitement inside you as you stare out the window of the shop you were tending at. The winds of Snezhnaya has finally brought their winter to Liyue, making it cold for the locals to idle outside for too long.

Seeing this, you did your long hours of work with great impatience, wanting to enjoy the snow with a particular someone all the way in the outskirts of the city-- in Wangshu Inn. You just know that he'll be the most excited between the two of you-- although he won't show it or say it.

"Have a good night!" That was the cue. Yes, it was evening by the time you got out of work, but your excitement left you restless and headed to the inn, greeting Verr Goldet and her husband in the lobby as soon as you got there. And not wanting to prolong you any longer, the woman simply pointed up the flight of stairs that leads to a highest level possible.

However, when you got there, there was not a single being to be seen. You didn't feel down though, knowing that he was probably off to secure the night around the inn and nearby places that doesn't have the protection of the Millelith.

You walked closer to the ledge, your eyes seeming to glow in admiration at the snow that covered Liyue in less than a day. But before you could put a hand on the railing, a "What are you doing here?" brought your attention behind you.

To nobody's surprise, Xiao stood there with his arms crossed, his eyes glowing in the dark, but not so much as the light from inside the inn emitted a brightight. "Xiao!" The name that left your lips was enough to make you smile. Though in his part, his eyes slightly narrows while a brow quirks in question, but that was long forgotten when he growls at the state you were in. "Where is your coat?" he asks, walking closer to you.

It was just then that you realized that you had forgotten to bring a coat and felt the harsh breeze stinging your skin. You wrapped your arms around yourself, rubbing your arms to create some sort of heat. "Ehe, I was rushing to get here so I forgot to go home and bring one," you admitted, the smile never leaving your face. This did not amuse the yaksha and clicks his tongue in dissatisfaction. "Even when a millennia has passed, humans can be so stupid," he grumbles. "Wait here." Before you could ask, he turns on his heels and went downstairs, leaving you alone in the cold.

When he returns- which didn't take long- he was carrying a wool blanket in one arm. Approaching your person, he wraps the blanket around you like a wrap. Warm and comfortable.

You look down at the blanket and slightly blushed at the thought that it could be warmer if he hugged you, wrapping his firm, strong, and protective arms around your shoulders-- Oh no, you shouldn't fantasise something like that.

Looking at your state, Xiao couldn't help but feel the warm, tingly sensation on his face. You looked cute and small. He almost wants to lock you away so that no one else would be able to see just how truly cute you were. However, he snaps himself from indulging the thought, realizing how inappropriate it was especially for an Adepti such as himself.

With hand covering his mouth, he clears his throat. "Anyway, what are you doing here?" he asks, his voice sounding cold, but you know that he meas well and that it was just the way he speaks. "I wanted to share the first snow with you!" you admit, your smile doubling the size.

He raises an eyebrow. "Huh? Share the first snow?" he repeats, to which you nod. "I heard that you should always spend the first snow with someone special." Hearing you reason, he sighs heavily. "You humans always come up with something stupid." He closes his eyes and crosses his arms.

"It's not stupid it's sweet!" you defended, the blanket slightly slipping off your shoulders. Xiao took notice and moved even closer to fix it, but afterwards, his hands haven't left your shoulders and he just stares at you. It was only 5 seconds, but you felt kind of awkward, eyes averting to anywhere but his charming face. "S, so, uh.. I came here to ask if you wanted to play in the snow with me.." you mumbled.

There was no response on the other end and it was only when your eyes returned to look directly at him that he quickly answers with an "Okay" before swooping you off the ground and jumped off from the inn. In fear, you wrapped your arms around his neck and hold on for dear life.

It only took a couple of seconds to reach the ground safely but to you, it felt like it was your end. Xiao looks at you and couldn't help but huff out a chuckle. "Hey, do you think I would drop you?" he asks, watching you open your eyes once you felt the rush of adrenaline subside.

You blinked twice and remembered how you are still hugging him. "Oh, uh.. Could you put me down?" you ask shyly, unwrapping your arms around his neck. He did as told, setting you back down gently.

Taking a look around, the snow stretched out for miles, up until the horizon where you could barely see a thing. Winter only comes once a year in Liyue and each year upon the look of snow would always leave you breathless. The snow in Liyue was much different than that in Snezhnaya as it wasn't knee-deep and children could still play around.

One step. Two step. Soon, you were running across the field and laughing. While on Xiao's part, he watches his foolish of a human with his arms cross and unknowingly to him, a smile adorns his face. His eyes softened at the sight of your smile. He always does, you just never noticed.

His eyes moves away from you and his attention was now transfixed to the snow on the ground. Seeing as he has cleared the area from enemies before meeting you at the inn, it was most likely safe for you to tumble and fall without getting the attention of monsters.

You stopped running and stood there looking at the falling snow, just about tired from running. You looked over Xiao and see that he was very focus at the snow beside him. He looked funny looking at the snow as if he was going to murder it.

Tearing your eyes away from the male and to the snow, you soon grabbed a handful of it with your bare hands and compacted it to a snowball. It was cold, but the urge to touch it was too much to take and would risk your health to play in it.

Happy with the ball, you run back to Xiao. "Hey, Xiao--" Your words were cut short when you saw Xiao pick up a handful of the snow and eat it. It wasn't all the uncommon for someone to eat snow but Xiao eating snow was truly something.

He turned his head towards you while having a snowball close to his mouth with a questioning gaze since you did originally wanted to grab his attention. "What?" he questions soon after when you just stood there like a mannequin.

"O, oh, yeah.." You blinked and regained your train of thought. "Anyway, do you want to have a snowball fight with me?" you asked, a challenging grin on your face. He raised a brow. A human asking an Adeptus to a snowball fight? It was obvious which would win so what was the point?

But seeing that smile on your face was hard to say no to. That glimmer in your eyes was intriguing, to say the least. So, he nods. "I won't go easy on you," he warns. "I didn't want you to in the first place." With that, you threw the first snow right on his face.

Even though he said he wouldn't go easy on you, he was actually much softer and let you hit him multiple times and only hitting you once or twice every now and then.

Once you had your hands on your knees, he figured that it was finally time that his human was exhausted. He walks over to you and when he was close enough, he fixed the blanket around you that surprisingly didn't fall off your shoulders.

You look at his beautiful, golden orbs that has now the time to truly glow in the dark. It was captivating. The atmosphere, the place-- everything in that moment had that magical, winter air. You two stood there, silently praising the other.

His eyes moved towards your lips, thinking how soft it would be when he places his own on it. With his hands still on your shoulders, he leans closer to your face before stopping short, his lips just a few centimetres away from yours. He was waiting to see if you would pull back.

Wanting his lips on yours, you closed the gap and felt a sudden warmth flush through your body. A hand of his made its way and caressed your cold skin, deepening the kiss. The kiss was enchanting and felt that it had been hours before you both pulled away.

When you did, a smile adorned your flushed face-- flushed from the intimate moment and from the cold. You slowly moved away and flopped down on the snow and laughed.

"Hey, you're going to get sick, you idiot," he states, crossing his arms as he watches your blanket unwrapped itself from your shoulders, now being used to keep your back dry. "Haha, no I won't! Not to be a brag, but I have a pretty strong body," you boast.

O how you felt embarrassed by those words that you said so proudly last night as you lay in bed, under layers of warm blanket. "Humans can be so stupid. Yesterday you were sure you wouldn't get sick but the next day, here I find you in bed," Xiao says, entering the room with a bowl of warm water and a washcloth.

When you didn't greet him this morning, he knew that you were sick and went to your house to take care of you immediately. "I said nothing," you spoke, holding your chin high as you feign ignorance.

He clicks his tongue but said nothing more, dipping the cloth in the warm water before squeezing it so water wouldn't be dripping on you. He moves closer to the bed and sat at the edge of it, moving any hair that covered your forehead before placing the cloth. "You should remember to bring your coat. I'm not always there to remind you like a mother," he said.

"Hey, if you're just going to bully me, then you can leave. I know I was dumb for not bringing one, okay?" You pout, though there wasn't any anger in your tone, and brought the blanket up until the bridge of your nose.

He looks at you for a short second and brought his fingers close to your face. Before you could guess what he was doing, he had flicked your forehead. "You idiot. Do you really think that I would be here in the first place if I didn't care about you?"

The words made you blush and felt a hundred times more warmer than the cloth on your head. He looks at you with a straight lip, but his eyes hinted at a different emotion. It was soft and held care for you.

He then stood up, eyes tearing away from you, and walked towards your door. With a hand on the handle, he twists it open but before he step out, he looks over his shoulders- to you- and said, "Make sure you get enough rest. I'll be here if you need me."
