I’m rewatching early season 1 and gosh. I love the plot lines and the focus on the kids in the rest of the seasons, really I do. But there’s something beautiful in the uncomplicatedness of the first 13? Not many of them get a focus because of how much we follow Schue’s story and that somewhat makes me like the kids better? Like glee really mostly focused on characters or relationships if they were going to be mean or there was going to be drama. But with so much drama being taken up by the Ken/Emma/Will/Terri and babygate plots the rest of the characters live out of background moments. And it’s truly a testament to these actors how well they craft these kids with the little time they have. All these little moments and friendships and callbacks just make me feel warm because it feels real. With how dramatic all the kids are from sectionals on out (and yes they are dramatic in the first 13, but in like a teenagers way) a lot of them being kids is lost? Watching throwdown and sectionals and just seeing all the interaction and ways the casts’ bond came through? Gosh as much as we all rag on the first 13 there’s a reason people came back for more. And it was these actors doing so much with so little in such amazing ways.

On a serious note, do any other aromantic people relate to wanting to platonically kiss a friend, like just on the cheek? I get that urge really often but don't want to come across as weirder than I already am. Platonic hugs just don't cut it half the time 😞
(I think I just want a queerplatonic relationship with another aromantic person but don't know how and at what age I can actually consider that)

So I was thinking about Steven Universe and started comparing the Diamond's to the different sides like Patton would be Pink, Logan would be Yellow, Virgil would be Blue, and White would be Deceit (technically he's not a side) but it seems kinda fitting. I'm not sure who Roman would be maybe he would be Pearl? Also, Steven would obviously be Thomas. @thatsthat24
I’m sure many are affected by the news we’ve received as of late. This does hurt, if you did not know this person that’s okay as well. The event has been occurring time and time again with people of all sides. I’m sure you can relate to a time of mental challenge. Maybe you’re going through them right now. Reach out! It’s okay. We must prevent this from happening, for the sake of all. Young children to tend to young adults and adults to older adults. From people struggling in school or career or their marriage/ relationship or with themselves. We have so much power at the tip of our fingers. Use it in a good way. I hope this message is reached by many more.

Ok so this may be strange but does anyone else have a constant feed of commentary when reading that needs to be put into the world? I started taking notes almost like annotations in my notes app whenever I read fan fiction so I just have like a bunch of long ass notes full of random out of context notes and quotes in my notes app. 😁😁
you know, as a character, you get the sense that Lewis Nixon is literally just living his life one day at a time. he's got no long-term plans, really. why would he? he was born rich, with a life of guaranteed leisure served to him on a silver platter, right? literally he has no need to look forward to anything, because he's been conditioned, from a young age, to be confident in the fact that whatever he wants, whatever he needs, is simply a phone call, a request, and a wad of cash away. he's never really had to bribe himself with a future he wants. the american dream was his before he was even born! he doesn't really know how to imagine a future for himself, as a result. at least, not one that breaks the monotony of his own gilded cage of an existence.
it's a mindset he's lived in for almost all of his life-- that's why he has so many self-destructive tendencies held back by mere threads of self-preservation, right? what even is there for him to live for, in the long run?
that's why "we'll go to Chicago, I'll take you there," is so fucking important!!!!!
for the first time in a long, long time he's giving himself MORE than just scraps for mere survival. he's giving himself incentive to not just live another day, but survive the rest of the war! he's making plans!!!! he's making PROMISES!!!!!! and he intends to fulfill them!!!!!

Simon "Ghost" Riley x Reader |Angst?| Warning: Mentions of death ( this isn't proofread and this is so poorly written)
The battlefield was chaotic with all of the gunfire and explosions. Ghost moved swiftly as he tried clear out every area that can be a possible enemy hideout. You and him were both determined to find victory in this mission. Though, in the back of Ghost's mind, he couldn't shake the bad feeling of you getting hurt.
As Ghost fought through the hostile forces, something rang in his earpiece. It was your voice, weak and strained. "Lt.... i need help.."
Fear gripped Ghost's heart. The last time he felt this feeling was when he was a little boy, hiding from the wrath of his father.
He sprinted towards the source of the signal. Each step felt like an eternity, his mind and his heart was racing. He couldn't help but think about the countless missions you both had to go through. He was always there for you, always ready to catch you when you fall. But this time it's different.
Finally, he reached a dimly lit alley where he found your almost lifeless form, struggling to stay conscious. Your blood pooling into the ground with a faint smile on your lips as your eyes met his.
"My Simon" you called out his name, barely above a whisper.
Ghost hurriedly rushed to your side, dropping his knees. He scanned your injuries while trying to comprehend everything that's happening. "Hang on love, I'll get you outta here." his voice cracked.
"Simon, It's too late for me. You have to go" you weakly held Simon's hand.
"No, [Name] i wont leave you here." Ghost spoke out, his voice trembling with emotion. He couldn't afford to lose you. You were the most important thing that came in to his life, You were the only one he had left; the only one who saw him as Simon.
With every ounce of strength he had to muster, Ghost carried you to safety, trying to shield you from any possible threats along the way, while he contacted the rest of the 141.
As both of you reach the extraction point, you smiled at Ghost "Your always the stubborn one" your voice barely audible. "Take good care of yourself yeah?"
"Don't talk like that." Simon pleaded, his heart breaking at the sight of you. "Your going to make it. You have to."
You reached up gently touched his cheek "Remember the promises we made? that... no one was going to be left behind"
Your words struck into Ghost's heart. He couldn't save you this time.
"Promise me Simon. Promise me that you'll be takin' care of yourself, even if im gone." you spoke out. Ghost didnt say a word but he simply took off his blacalava and rested his forehead with yours.
"I love you, Si"
"I love you too."

Days, months and even years have passed, Simon still feels the weight and grief of your loss. He tried to keep the promise of taking care of himself but, he just can't. Without you he's nothing.
He would visit your grave daily, talking about everything. The little things he saw that reminded him of you, the way he kept all your belongings in his place. The pain of losing you never subsided but he knew he had to keep going, he had to live for you.
"I promise, [name]. I'll never forget you. I promise that i'll keep you in my heart forever."
I’m so evil for this but I just had a brain idea for TADC. Idk if this counts as spoilers, but I will be talking about episodes enough?? Maybe spoilers, idk. Read with caution. But anyways:
I was doing the dishes when I remembered when someone mentioned how Caine can’t directly affect the cast’s minds, but can manipulate them as seen with the stupid sauce in ep 4. Gooseworx’s response was very vague, giving only a small ‘heh’ in response but it got me wondering what that sort of thing could do if Caine realized how much he could do with it. See, no one expects Caine to do anything malicious, because he isn’t supposed to be, and quite frankly, he doesn’t want to be the bad guy either, ALTHOUGH he does have a very oblivious and factual sense of logic.
My thoughts then turned to the meals he makes for the cast, occasionally, if they eat meals regularly, or if he gives them to the cast as prizes, (as seen in the end of the TADC pilot). My brain immediately thought of how Caine, wanting everyone to enjoy his adventures and their life in the circus, might react when he realizes he could just feed them something that could actually make them enjoy his shenanigans! To Caine, I’d make perfect sense, and not malicious at all since then they’d be more compliant and happy. Even if it’s forced onto them.
The thought of Caine making an adventure for them, and making a meal for them afterwards with code that’ll manipulate their senses and practically mind control them seems like something he’d 200% do if he ever realized he could. One of he worst things would be that then, if they were still “conscious”, they wouldn’t just be stuck in the circus, they wouldn’t just be trapped with each other, they’d be trapped in the back of their minds, suppressed as second thought that would be completely overlooked. If not, then their minds would be seen as completely stable, and they wouldn’t even be able to get out via abstraction anymore! An everlasting generation of circus members that don’t go insane, argue, or abstract! Caine would see it as perfect!
My ramblings are just about a random thought I had, I don’t expect it to actually happen, though with how shocked the voice actors were with the script, and how the mind-altering substances aren’t completely off the table, there’s a possibility of it happening. An absolute nightmare of an ending for the show.
Tired Thoughts
Some thoughts from my sleep deprived brain on colorblindness:
What if colorblind people are actually seeing things right, and everybody else is actually colorblind?
What if colorblind people can actually see a totally different color and we just call it purple or something?
What if colorblind people are piercing some sort of visible veil, seeing stuff that nobody else can?
