Mizuki crawled out of the ocean, gasping for air. She loved oxygen, couldn't remember the last time she'd appreciated something so simple to this degree. Mizuki coughed, spitting sand out of her mouth, tasting salt and blood. Her throat hurt. She collapsed, exhausted. L had decided to visit the beach with his husband, Light. He was practicing the art of "touching grass", much to the chagrin of the assembly of Discord mods that always relied on his fearsome judgement. Looking out on the bay, L fully took in the wondrous view. So this is what the world was truly like, when you took away the collection of pixels keeping it obscured. Rolling up his pants and slipping off his shoes, L stretched his toes into the warm sand. An unpleasant sensation akin to small claws and teeth ripped its way up L's leg. I... don't like sand.

(Had to make a story using Australian slang for school and I decided to make one about the members of Nightcord going to a drug shop to buy food for the best barbeque party ever (hosted by Mizuki) but there ends up being no food and they decide to use avocados instead.)

Honestly, I'm impressed at how much research people who believe that Mizuki is trans did. And these proofs are really strong, like... you can't just easily refute them. While people who believe that Mizuki is crossdresser, only rely on mizu5... As if that didn't prove that Mizuki is transfem... Like... If she was a boy, she wouldn't run away like that and wouldn't have a panic attack. People really should stop debating over her gender, and finally accept that she's trans.

I don't know if my opinion is valid, though, I'd like to say it.

I absolutely hate Mizuki and her fans. I understand that y'all love her, but please, can we go without these gender debates? Y'all look stupid while trying to prove who Mizuki is transfem or crossdresser. Like, I just want to watch a video of my (previously) favorite character and then see another gender debate. Like why the fuck are you so bothered what's in her pants? As if that could change the universe....

Mizuki is actually flexible in this case. Whatever theory you believe, just try to... Think of another? If you think that she's a crossdresser, then... Try to view her from the side of a transfem and vice versa. And you'll see how flexible she is. So... Maybe we should try to pressure sega to reveal her gender?? I myself believe that she's transfem or non-binary, but still... It all looks like a bait of two audiences.

And cuz of these gender debates, she started to annoy me. Especially after Ena5. She's just... Ugh... Running and running away, not waiting to talk and then screams like a pig. Kinda feels sorry both to Mizuki and Ena fans. Sega once again made a mistake.

Anyways. I know that there will be a bunch of Mizuki fans, who may or may not be aggressive. So, if you want to argue, prove me another point, then feel free to DM me. Just let's get it easy and without aggression to both of us, okay? Mizuki is just pixels after all. Anyways, it's just my opinion and a little rant.... What can I say in the end is... The portrayal of gender dysphoria is typically limited to a surface level, physical sense, so I wanted to explore a possible social/emotional aspect to it through Mizuki

Mizuki sees their inherent (transgender) existence as a curse through what can be implied through Bake No Hana through lyrics such as “My punishment for having been born” or “it’s cute but it tastes like sin.”

The song itself just reeks of disgust and self-hatred; in combination with Mizuki’s comment about what others would think of Ena and Mizuki just existing together, I couldn’t help but ponder the thoughts possibly fueled by dysphoria/society’s views on their identity that Mizuki would have racing through their mind.

It is a common experience for trans people feel as if they are disgusting, vile, even “sinful” just for existing and while piecing together lyrics and dialogue with Mizuki, I don’t believe she is excluded from this feeling.
